From my experience, no. Although I believe some people use Horary astrology to predict events. But you've gotta be really good at it, I suppose. IP: Logged |

I agree, ive never seen predictive astrology work...n i dont think you can tell if someone will come back.

Some transits bring old people or old issues back but who and what exactly I don't think so ..IP: Logged |

I think it's possible through various methods but it's not always very specific or definitive.In order to see if we'll meet i'd study both my own chart and the other person's with the transits. I would study our synastry, see which (outer) planets make the most aspects. Notice any double whammies or repeating aspects. Some relationships have a Plutonic or Uranian theme for example (many aspects to Uranus or Pluto or to both), so they may be clues for making your part and then bringing you back again.
So i will look at what transits were prominent in your natal charts when you separated(the degrees bear importance also), see if at the present time or in the future there will be similar or the same transits (could be retrograde too). I will then look at the composite chart and see what the dynamics are or what is the nature of the relationship (if one was established at all). According to todd, the transiting node against the composite chart will give clues on possible contact times (node square, trine, conjunct, sextile etc. a planet or an important midpoint or conjunction of planets). You could also ask this question as a Horary chart and see what the chart can tell you. IP: Logged |
