Topic: How to tell when Capricorn likes you? Hot/Cold

Just curious how to know if a Capricorn man likes you?Are they always so hot and cold, aloof even? I've known a few Capricorns, and find them a bit hard to crack, despite being the fellow Earth sign, Taurus. Thanks!  Edit with requested information: Well, this particular Cap has a Cap Moon, Pisces Venus, Virgo Mars, Taurus Rising.
I'm Taurus with Leo Moon, Pisces Venus, Pisces Mars, Scorpio Rising. We've been friends--closer as of last month or so--for about 6 months. Early on he was very hot/cold. Claimed to like me more than a friend, but when things looked promising he all of a sudden got more aloof and said we weren't dating. He confessed a few weeks ago he's not fully over his ex like he claimed he was--broken up now for almost 3 years. It was a very messy breakup where she cheated and left him for his roommate. Recently, as in past week or so, he's been exhibiting some signs that he likes me, flirting etc, but I'm wary since he acted like that back in October and ultimately it didn't go anywhere. Hence and hot and cold. We have been spending a lot of time together, though. I'm trying to guard my heart from potential hurt. Thanks! IP: Logged |

If you can't tell, then he doesn't like you. thats the rule.
Capricorn men like to play games but really theyre only interested in their careers. You should only go after them when they're in their 40s quote:

To my knowledge Caps do NOT like to play games!! In fact, if they catch YOU playing one you'll probably be dumped. They will show they like you in their sweet time. They (we) are sensitive creatures deep down and don't like to play with emotions since they run deep. If you have to ask whether he likes you or not you probably haven't known him long OR he doesn't like you.IP: Logged |

Capricorns are often misunderstood as cold and aloof I think. But in terms of how he treats you if he likes you - totally depends on other placements (Venus, Moon, Mars). So we would need those details. My boyfriend is Cap sun, and yeah he does get a little cold now and then. Usually if he's trying to figure out work stuff, or having a hard time with something. There is quite a misconception.Any man who goes cold isn't worthy of your time. Each and every Capricorn male would move very rapidly if you mean anything to him. The fact that he goes cold means you are not at the top of his priorities. Work can wait if a woman is important. What are you going to do if you need to be rescued from drowning in a river? Wait for him to finish work? Any man who doesn't come to you in an instant, or respond positively and quickly, is not interested and not worth your time. I don't like mind games. I will ditch anyone who even remotely plays games. I'm not slow. I'm ultra fast. I sent out my marriage proposal one month after meeting my wife and got married within three months. How's that for slow? I don't have time to mess around. This Capricorn male has his Sun in the 10th House, with a Capricorn Mars and Capricorn Mercury. I'm also 11th House and 2nd House significant. What kind of cold?I think this is important.
If you call him for example and he ignores you...he most likely doesnt care about you.
BUT if he just keeps a distance and doesnt really chase you is completely different.He may be insecure,shy etc...many possibilities.
Perhaps he feels something for you but doesnt want a relationship right now so he is fighting agaisnt it.I mean sometimes we find someone and we have a connection with them but there is just too much going on in our lives...Its not just a man thing.

Oh dear. I've been there, I flirted hard with him, he thought it was a joke. Even when I was up front with him. His words never gave anything away and he was terrible at flirting, but there was always a spark in his eyes during our conversations and I just knew I intrigued him - I guess I have good intuition and could tell he liked me even though he drove me INSANE by not concretely showing me. He even turned me down, and this may seem terribly arrogant, but I didn't believe he really meant to. So I created an opportunity 3 days later for him to come back to me if he felt he had made a mistake turning me down, and here we are 4 years and a baby later basically, look deep in to his eyes and maybe you'll see some clues! good luck!, quote:

Your signs are very compatible.. but not knowing the actual aspects - it's hard to say... how this is playing out, or why.
For instance, does your Pisces Mars conjunct his Venus by degree?I find that degrees are everything...
Close-aspects are really important in establishing a connection with someone. Mercury - Mercury aspects tend to make or break communication as well... from what I've seen.
You didn't post your Mercury signs.. Sometimes, for people who have trined Sun Signs... it can be a bit awkward to also have incompatible Mercuries.. Because, what happens is - they might truly like each other on many levels - but their manner of communication is *so* inherently different, that it's hard to *connect* psychologically.
They sometimes have misunderstandings and they can "talk past" each other. What happens in this kind of scenario... from what I've seen.. is that the Sun2Sun trine will win out in the end, if the two people stick around in each other's lives.
Basically, they eventually get used to each other's style of communication - and they can make things work long term (especially two highly committed earth signs like Taurus and Capricorn).
But in the initial stages a Mercury2Mercury incompatibility can certainly cause "issues".. and mis-communications. IP: Logged |

My apologies, still learning astrology! My Mercury is Taurus, his is Capricorn. The chart said for my mars "8 Pis 19 25" For his venus it said "1 Pis 54 12" Not sure if that's what you wanted. I used the "Astro Deinst" charts for myself and then him. Not sure how I would attach those. IP: Logged |

I don't know The key to them or us is we need time the act of someone forcing us makes us want to rebel even more ..... Just let it be and be there for him and if he want to flirt show your interested but your not gonna rush into anything.... To them if you stick through everything your the person for them...
