SN exaltation in Sag, fall in Gemini NN is the opposite. What does it mean is NN/SN are in the fall? Do anybody have this? Also is this part of western astrology? or Vedic astrology? IP: Logged |

I'm not entirely sure but I know that Venus transits occur in Gemini and Sagittarius. Venus morning star happens in these times as well. Each transit happens about once every 100 years, the same span as a human life. I believe that is when the North Node and South Node are in Gem/Sag.That had me thinking that if NN is exalted in Gemini then that means God likes mind over matter because Gemini is the most intelligent sign and rules the mind. SN in Sag means that the person leaves behind filth in a way as Sag can be one of the most dirty signs.

The ascending (or north) node is where the Moon moves into the northern ecliptic hemisphere, while the descending (or south) node is where the Moon enters the southern ecliptic hemisphere.Moon is ruled by Cancer and Saturn is ruled by Capricorn. The Moon and Saturn rule the Nodes of the Moon. There is a video on youtube about fall and detriment of North Node, but there is no such thing. Any placement for South and North Node is good. They meant to say that, because North Node is ruled by Saturn and Saturn's domicile is in Capricorn, North Node would be well placed in earth signs and would be bad for a water sign, for example, because Saturn is with order, working for something, discipline, rules etc, meanwhile a water sign would mean that you would think about morality, feelings, love, spirituality, in a way Saturn would look at it. That is a good question.I have never understood this particular astrological claim. It just makes no sense to me. Planets can have fall and exaltations, but how can Nodes who are NOT planets have fall and exaltations. If NN is exalted in Gemini, with the power inherent in the nodes, that would mean we are currently living in the most exalted time for the nodes, and it makes no sense to me. IP: Logged |

It makes no sense to me, either. My NN is in Sagittarius, and my Moon/Venus are conjunct the SN in Gemini. IP: Logged |

My NN is in Sagg too! but I have no planets on the nodes. If you have Moon/Venus on SN, you probably feel your SN more than you feel your NN. And right now must be a special time for you. IP: Logged |

This doesn't make much sense to me either.... It's not something I've heard of...It's a strange thing to say, simply because every sign has qualities... and the NN is a point of learning and growth.. We all need to learn more about the sign of our NN and adopt some of the qualities/positive behaviours of that sign. It doesn't really matter whether the sign is Gemini, Sagittarius or anything else.... I don't believe the 'exaltation' rules work with Nodes... IP: Logged |

My conjunction is at the very beginning of Gemini. I am curious as to what (if anything) will happen. They also square Mars in Pisces. My Dad's NN is in Gemini, conjunct my SN/Moon/Venus. IP: Logged |

Rahu and Ketu do not really debilitate, they are not grahas (planets) as the others. Debilitation and exaltation should be understood symbolically for them, and not literally.IP: Logged |

I read that somewhere too. That the NN is exalted in Gem. And I have mine in Gemini. SN in Sagittarius IP: Logged |
