When have you been a scapegoat for others in your life? What aspect was a contributing factor in your opinion? Were you going through a transit? What did you learn?

I have been, once in my family, and once with some other weirdness that I don’t want to go into. Uranus-Pluto were square when it started (with my family). Neptune conjunct Mars, square moon/Venus/nodes, trine Uranus/ascendant. Pluto square mercury/Ceres/Chiron/sun, Uranus conjunct the same grouping. The damage isn’t fully reparable.

If I’d forgotten my boundaries, just to make a man more comfortable - even though he was the one causing the trouble - I would have probably been fine family-wise, but I couldn’t do it, and I wouldn’t actually have been fine. He would have kept doing what he was doing, and I would have been expected to get over it every time.

Please clarify what you consider to be the difference between a scapegoat and a victim.

I read your article on this ... at http://mychristianpsychic.com/journal/people-seem-to-want-to-learn-more-about-dejanira/

In my natal chart, Dejanira is at 11Cap33 - in 4th house of psychological foundations, but not making ptolemaic aspects to anything else in the chart.

However, I laughed-out-loud when I looked up Lynda Hill's interpretation for the Capricorn12 Sabian Symbol and discovered it cautions against Radical non-humanistic views. Intellectual smugness. Lecturing people about their lives. Browbeating. Lip service to conservation values. Bashing ‘greenies’. ... Because failing to observe that warning/caution invariably results in me being "victimised" by others. ... http://sabiansymbols.com/symbol-lookup/

And I'm wondering if there is a difference between "victims" (whose own behaviour invites attacks from others) and "scapegoats" (who have done nothing to warrant being attacked by others).

I guess the perfect example of a scapegoat would be Jesus-The-Christ ... and wonder if the rest of us are actually victims, rather than scapegoats.

Great point, G. Victims invite abuse BUT they do not mean to. It is all subconscious. Maybe, scapegoats are more within a family and not in general.

Victims don’t invite abuse.

Victims do not CONSCIOUSLY/knowingly invite abuse.
