I would like to get some validation here

it is my belief that mars-trine venus gives graciousness of movement. i have the conjunction and it applies.

however, i am checking someone with mars retrograde and I am afraid to make a wrong reading. does anyone you know with contact between mars and venus but with mars retrograde has still talent for dancing, gymnastic, ballet or something similar?

I have retrograde Mars opposite venus and sun and no, I have zero talent for dancing of any kind.

I have Mars square Venus, and I was a good dancer when I was a kid. I couldn't keep up with the training, though. Now, I'm probably terrible. I've been thinking about trying again, just for fitness purposes.

I'm not sure how graceful I am. I can be clumsy, but I have good reflexes. Oh, mum did once tell me that I fell gracefully.

do you have mars retrograde? because my theory is that the mars-venus is a sign of gracious movement, but it is the retrograde what concerns me..

I would be looking at the sign Mars is in moreso than whether or not it is retrograde.

--Mars in Pisces and in general water signs gives fluidity of movements.

--Mars in air signs can give aeriness and lightness of movements. People who can leap to great heights when dancing.

--Mars in earth signs can give precision and excellence in choreographed well rehearsed movements.

--Mars in fire sign can give impulsiveness and explosiveness in movements. Mars in Aries does well with dances that mimic fighting.

Mars retro is still Mars. Could do well in dances that are choppy, controlled, restrained; there are many modern dance styles that are suitable for Mars retro.

ETA: I would also pay attention to the ascendant when it comes to movement. I am Pisces rising, and even though I have Mars in Virgo, I prefer fluid movements and freeform dancing and I hate practicing dance routines. Therefore my ascendant supersedes my Mars when it comes to movements.

I actually think Mars - Neptune could make someone a very gracious and fluid dancer.

People with Mars - Venus can be quite charming.
