Tomorrow's solar eclipse will be in my 8th (Placidus. Whole sign 9th.). On my Mars. I'm really confused about what an eclipse falling in the 8th house will bring.IP: Logged |

This is what I found:"Eclipses in the eighth house are intense, and bring on soul searching. There can be events that take all we've got, and then some, to move through. Some might become aware of the heavy energetic price of debt, arrangements with strings attached or toxic entanglements. A catharsis might be due, to summon emotional courage, and transform your darkest fears into action. Being close to death is a possibility, with all the reflection the ultimate life passage brings. Other possibilities are banishing psychic or emotional vampires (or becoming aware of this in yourself); intensity around sex; meeting your or another person's dark side; leaving a controlling situation; opening to gifts in the shadows." Source: http://astrology.about.com/od/solarandlunareclipses/a/Eclipses-In-The-Houses.htm "Brings the opportunity to bring some matter to an end that you have wanted to be done with; possibly something ends you wanted to keep going. This is the house of ending things so those new things can take their plaice. There could be dealings concerning taxes, insurance or legacies. Debts will be paid off (or incurred) or you may apply for a credit card or loan. For married people, this is a time of having to work more closely on joint finances. The opinions of others will affect you more strongly than usual." Source: http://astrologyclub.org/eclipses-houses/ ------------------ Gemini Rising. Cancer Sun. Capricorn Moon. 6 Rx planets. That one from astrology.about.com seems like it will be really accurate for me, one way or another. (I've written a bunch about my story on the thread above about being scared of the 9/1 eclipse.)PixieMG, what do you think the eclipse might mean for you? IP: Logged |

I was asking because my sister (the one with mental illness) had the eclipse in her 8th house, which worried me a little, but things were quiet. I was on a short trip so I wasn't close to her, but nothing extraordinary happened. I'm looking forward the entrance of Jupiter in Libra and on October 7 her TR Saturn opposite Moon will end. The eclipse was in my 3rd house, conjunct my Venus, didn't notice anything yet. Thanks for your input.------------------ Gemini Rising. Cancer Sun. Capricorn Moon. 6 Rx planets. IP: Logged |
