I am a Pisces MC and one of the characteristics of this MC is someone who knows the kind of career they want but is too dreamy and impractical and doesn't have the ambition to go for it, and this is exactly true of me unfortunately. I want to be a journalist (Jupiter in my 3rd of Virgo and Virgo's ruler Mercury in my 10th house of Aries; my Pisces MC is on the 10th cusp as 26 Pisces, but I still consider my 10th in Aries because I identify with that energy more). Since I want to be a journalist I obviously need to go to college, but I haven't been able to motivate myself to finish college and it's been six years since I graduated high school.

What kind of job is best for me? Can I be a journalist? I am into astrology, but I don't think I'd be a good teacher. I've read that a Pisces MC is good for someone who wants a career as a filmmarker, actor/actress or chiropractor/reiki/massage therapist or fantasy writer. I've also read that they face a scandal caused through their own fumble or through a close associate.

I think that anywhere we find Pisces in the chart is where we want to be of service to people and/or gain fulfillment in a spiritual way.

This may not necessarily be in ways that are tangible or have strictly materialistic rewards however. But ways that provide a pathway through which we become more "divine" or get closer to godhead.

There are Pices Mc people who work in all sorts of industries including commercial. The nature of the work matters little compared to the spiritual upliftment it provides.

So i would say that worry not so much on what you are doing and more on how you feel doing it. Whatever that thing is.

All water signs have a connection to feelings, emotions, healing and intuition. So a career that will exercise your muscles in that avenue may prove very fulfilling.

So much so that the money you make doing it will in time become irrelevant.

SunAscendant,

Astrology is not here to tell you that you cannot do what you are interested in. Sometimes people find fulfillment in their primary area of interest as an avocation.

It is impossible for us to know what kind of job is best for you, and it sounds like motivation is more an issue that the choice itself. This is something that is worth a straight-forward inquiry with a professional astrology who can do a vocational reading or another kind of reader who can focus on that specifically.

Take some time to write down your main areas of interest and the main important things you know about yourself: what kinds of environments or tasks you like and dislike. Look as much for what those eliminate ... use process of elimination.

You can also keep a Vocation/Career dream notebook by your nightstand and go over these thoughts and renew your inquiry each night in order to get clarity from your own sub/super-conscious.

Genuine MC in Pisces folks typically have difficulty with deciding on a career path and need some trial and error to get there. My dad (Cancer/Saturn rising, Moon/Virgo, Sun/Libra, MC/Pisces) changed his major a few times in college and took 5 years to complete his BA in Landscape Architecture.

They also typically need a two-pronged outlet for their aims in life. Creative and spiritual/religious, or creative and idealist, etc.

Don`t keep yourself on the horns of a self-created dilemma. My dad has had a great career using his degree. He also became an ordained in our church and was a private school administrator a few different times as I grew up. Living life with confidence a step at a time has a way of helping you make choices. When my sister and I came along it was easier for both mom and dad to participate in our education, especially dad.

I got a pisces MC as well I may not be the best example as I also got a saturn in 6th house... but my pisces moon is also in the 10th house... I know pretty well were my interests are, and as long as I got a job/career in that direction I'll be fine. It's true that I feel my job also gives me some kind of spiritual satisfaction... it's not only my job and career, it's a great part of my life. I need to feel that I make a difference with what I do. It is crucial for me, that my job is interesting and also help humankind.
I do like to serve others, but on a whole different level, not especially on an eye-to-eye contact, but serving and doing my best for our whole planet, and everyone who lives here - including people, animals, plants

(virgo sun in 4th, pisces moon in 10th, cancer rising)

What do you do if you don't mind me asking? Where are Neptune and Jupiter (esoteric ruler of Pisces)?

Interesting... What in the chart inclined you towards that particular field? I have a 7th house Neptune/Uranus conjunction in Capricorn exactly square my 10th house Aries Venus (the tightest applying aspects in my chart)

Hey can you pls delete or edit your reply? I don't want everyone to know what I do ^^

But well I guess it's because I want to be creative (I also have many planets and asteroids in the 5th house) and put together with the 4th house (building a home) cancer is also a bit known for being interested in interior design...
