this is based off of the pure planets alone without the signs/house synastry

if you have mars as a handle of your chart (note- very special position/important)

and you have a friend that has sun conjunct mars. that means your mars is conjunct their sun.

its just the same way we all have an aries point. when you have saturn cojnunct it, that means your saturn is conjunct EVERYONE's aries point. it goes the same way for the sun. but the sun is much more powerful.

if your outlet planet is mars and your friend has mars cojnunct sun, then that is a special connection because your outlet planets conjunts their sun.

this is because synastry is not synastry. its called synchronization of energy

each planet has its own energy. so if mars was someones outlet planet they draw energy from mars and the other person with sun conjunct mars draws energy from mars.

no not sure about the rulership thing how that comes into play

if you have mercury conjunct mars, that means when you are with another person, your mars is conjunct their mercury. because you both feel the energy of mercury in a synchronization process

its like between 2 people each person's mercury is like, hey, there you are, im on top of you, im hugging you, but if you had mars there, mars is like "hey guys! im here on top of you guys too!"
