Hey guys. So over the last several months I've become more and more interested in ancient methods of astrology & one method I've become most fascinated by is "profecting" the chart & using the time lords.I'm curious to see who else here might use this for yourself or others. Hi Nine,Here's one of the articles I've book marked about it. https://astrologicalmind.wordpress.com/2013/08/11/focusing-the-chart-using-yearly-profections/ But basically you take your ASC as age 0 and then your second house as year 1-2 and you keep directing the horoscope forward to show each year of your life. It covers the whole horoscope thru your 12th house (12th year of life) then starts over again. You first examine the house to see what your year ahead might be like and you also look at the house ruler, which becomes known as the "time lord" for the year for added info. You can take it a step farther by looking for that time lord in your Solar Return chart to narrow in on themes for the year I hope I explained it well, but the article I linked is really helpful! Ok...I might be stating the obvious but according my calculations...my profections are identical to my Draconic chart this year...seems odd? What would that mean?
Did my husbands too. He has exact same angles as I despite being older but his Draconic doesn't match.IP: Logged |

The Draconic chart is said to represent our "soul". Or something like that. Very old system. I am no expert so don't want utter anything I'll regret but I found it odd that they were identical. IP: Logged |

Interesting. I'll have to look into my draconic chart. I'm really enjoying the protection method. I know Vedic astrology uses a time lord method also. I really like being able to zero in on the year by looking at the time lord in the solar return. Demetra George has a great audio download about time lords and the solar return on her website. I've listened to it a few times now. She uses the chart of Jacqueline Kennedy to explain the method in detail. IP: Logged |
