You mean transiting Chiron was making these contacts to your personal planets?IP: Logged |

Transiting Chiron often serves to notify us of deep wounding which might have been buried--it can do this through painful interpersonal experiences (a man enters your life who, through his mistreatment, shows you how you were taught as a child to accept abuse, and you begin the path to recovery from these damaging patterns (for instance)). Chiron can act (and has in my experience acted) through something as direct and obvious as an energy healing where finally we understand that our physical symptom/disease is linked to a difficult childhood experience of alienation and scorn by our peers... but this awareness at first seems more painful than it's worth because we haven't cried in years (and in fact got made fun of for crying, back in school). (That one is an example of transiting Chiron conjunct Sun exact during an energy healing)...It also seems to be capable of initiating wounding and pain which otherwise didn't exist before (in this life time), just as in the myth Chiron was mortally wounded. An integral part of this myth is how Chiron learned to live with a mortal wound, and to teach in spite of his pain. Although we may suffer tremendously, it can strengthen our immortal soul when we continue to give and love and honour others with our presence and our respectful guidance, even in the midst of unimaginable personal pain. I have witnessed transiting Chiron (even when making soft aspects) eliciting a huge amount of pain and the revelation of hidden motives, issues, etc. etc., you name it... Chiron can bring it up in us. Ultimately, the wound must be opened up for it to heal. It can't fester, infected (I know this is a poor analogy)... it must be cleansed with salt water, and that stings! Moving on from that analogy though lol... importantly, Chiron is a wound which will perhaps be opened again and again until we learn how to love even in the midst of pain. In the midst of great difficult the seed of love and immortality still exists, as it does in all things. Chiron teaches us how to access this awareness. The wisdom Chiron offers is not conditional; I mean, he can teach us how to manage pain, how to take care of things on a practical day to day level, how to heal as well and as many people as we can... but the deepest lesson Chiron has for anybody is that the only way to enjoy everything is to enjoy suffering itself as well... and through extreme suffering we can access a hidden wellspring of strength, resilience, and love which is truly unconditional. That unconditional love is no fairy tale. That is some very tough stuff, which can look unflinchingly on the most horrific scene and know that it, too, is infused with love... IP: Logged |

Whoops, saw your answer now I think that is still a decent answer. Chiron is definitely not only about healing... and might mostly feel like it's a little more about pain a lot of the time... it's a sore spot, shows a definite vulnerability. It is many things, depending on sign, aspects, house etc etc. Just as many astrological symbols have a lot of different meanings. Hygieia... she's Healing with a capital H. Chiron... Chiron does heal but also definitely brings up some intense stuff in the process. It is a planet of real healing and true love because it has the ability to see all of us for who we really are, and not to flinch or turn away. However, that's just an ability... just like Neptune has the ability to love unconditionally (Chiron's is a different brand), but Neptune isn't always manifesting at the highest possible vibration of Neptune (or is it? ) IP: Logged |

Thank you yungang! I didn't even think about looking at Chiron transits. I just looked at the night that the worst event happened last year and it's awful.... Transit moon & pluto conjunct, opp natal mars EXACT Transit Chiron 8th house Transit Sun conjunct natal Chiron 5degree, opp natal uranus 3degrees Transit Uranus & Mercury conjunct, square natal mars -2.02 Geesh....this moment looks awful, which it was.....I'm surprised I am alive! So...this hideous moment in time is about opening the wound, feeling the pain and then moving away....never to accept that type of behavior again. Right?

I'll answer the question of your subject line, "How does Chiron heal?"A: Naturally, with nature's help, and with insights into personal history and familial relationship. By going within - to see your own patterns, and by going to nature. I doubt what you experienced and described here with trouble in relating to men all year had anything to do at all with Chiron. Chiron does not mean "pain." Its archetype is not even activated until you go past the Saturnine/parental story and past the immediacy of Lunar/moods/daily needs and look for how you can reconcile with what is and move towards transcendence. The asteroid belt lies between Saturn and Uranus and are side stories, even bridges, to the trans-personals. Part of the lessons are healing self by getting over self. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged | |
