So what aspects can we link to this interesting occurance where people are so involved in lives of celebrities that they take offense when someone dislikes their favorite ? I have noticed its interesting behaviour . I for example can only be a short timed groopie, you know when i like a guy that happens to be a celeb,i can praise him online and look at his pics for some time obsessively ,but it lasts short,i lose interest quickly - but there are people who live their lifes being fans of women and men, even fictional characters! Whats the deal? IP: Logged |

Maybe something to do with the 5th, 8th or 12th house? Leaning more towards the 5th, sometime folks with a lot in that house or certain planets in that house can be very passionate about what or who they find interesting. IP: Logged |

Not sure if this answers your question...Sometimes there is a way to insult the celebrity so that it's actually more of an insult to the fan, or it's just an overly aggressive comment. Celebrities take a lot of hate. I can see why their fans would want to protect them. Also if you take an interest in someone else's life and find that they are charitable, down-to-earth, humble, all-around sincere and decent people, and someone only sees a fake bimbo or jerk to laugh at...there is a sense of injustice and a desire to fight on principle. I have occasionally gotten into verbal struggles like that. My own involvement probably reflects my Cap sun, especially my birthday (which is said to be deeply concerned with truth), and my 8H Pisces moon, where I just soak in a lot of impressions and try to convey them. It's not easy for me. I think Paris Hilton is a nice person, for example. I cringe seeing people knock her down. Well not that I'm so entrenched in tabloids, but these things come up from time to time. It makes me wonder, "Why is my perception SO different from yours?"...it shows a rift. IP: Logged | |
