Well almost exact... Transit Merc Rx had been squaring my Mars for a few days and is almost exact now. Merc libra@0.55, my Mars gemini@29.33 I've been having headaches and just feel like I want to scream but there's nothing to warrant these feelings. Today, as it goes stationary and starts to go direct tomorrow my head feels like someone put an ice pick through it!! Horrible, awful migraine, I've been sick with it all day. Anyone every had transits mess with your head physically? IP: Logged |

Wow!! I'm sorry! I have gemini Mars and saggy Merc but they don't aspect each other. I get headaches/migraines once in awhile but not ones like this, where I'm throwing up. I'm sorry, if this aspect causes this it is a terrible aspect! Lol IP: Logged |

So I just looked up my progressed chart, I had a period of a couple years I was getting migraines daily in my teenage years....looking at my progressed chart it was around the time my Merc had progressed into a 1 degree opposition my Mars..it lasted intensely for 3 years then started going away slowly. I found this on CafeAstrology.com for Mercury square Mars: quote: Your mind is very sharp and critical, and you are insatiably curious. Your mind can be so quick that you are nervous, easily stressed, often over-stimulated, and prone to headaches. Impatience, especially while driving or operating machinery, could lead to accidents.
http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/mercurymarsaspects.html And for Mercury square Mars transit: quote: Verbal battles, disputes, and heated debates are very likely at this time because you speak your mind without much forethought, tact, or consideration of consequences. Right now you will say the things you usually only think, especially to people you disagree with. Also, you are quite impatient and easily frustrated, and are inclined to move about too quickly and abruptly, which can cause accidents. Unless you slow your pace down a bit, this time period can be quite a headache.

My husband gets migraines a lot and his mercury is disposited by Pluto which is disposited by VENUS and his VENUS squares his Mars-Uranus-DC conjunction.Venus rules his AC and SUN too, he has always suffered from migraines. I feel this is more a 12th house ruler meets 3rd house ruler thing perhaps. His 12th house ruler is MARS which sesquisquare his 3rd house ruler which is MOON. His mars conjuncts uranus and DC to top it off. IP: Logged |

Well, I think it makes a lot of sense considering Aries/Mars rules the Head and Mercury rules the Nervous System..IP: Logged |

I apologize that I don't have any astrological input. I Just wanted to say that I'm so sorry to hear about your migraine Gabby. I've had one once but unfortunately I don't have an exact date to refer back to. IP: Logged |

My Merc is on the cusp of 3rd and conjunct my Neptune in 3rd...my 12th is virgo of course ruled by Merc, so the 12th/Neptune potentially could also be a player in my chart. I don't get headaches like I used but I still do get them, esp when the weather changes. The one I have been having though is much more intense than my normal headache. I think a lot of air signs are prone to headaches, plus my aries Chiron can give emotional stress headaches. IP: Logged |

I never get headaches, yet I got one when RX merc was at 15 degrees from my Mars. It's been lasting a few days now and is just beginning to fade away. You might be on to something about Mercury RX aspecting Mars and headaches. IP: Logged |

Huh his chiron is also ruled by Venus conjuncts his AC in the 12th by 5 degrees and opposes his Mars stellium by 5degrees.I could see how chiron would definitely be a player..good one to bring up too. Chiron also inconjuncts his Neptune in the 8th. IP: Logged |

I am in the mood for medical astrology today and have been thinking... I like the link between mars and mercury but I feel mars aspecting the AC since the AC rules the head and mars aggravates what it touches specially in hard aspect that this can result in someone who has a propensity for migraines.I know my partner has Mars conjunct Uranus right on his DC opposing his AC and he is prone to migraines, you add that chiron conjuncts his AC and opposes Mars conjunct Uranus and he is very susceptible to migraines..
