Not sure if this should be in Personal readings or even Soul Unions but thought I'd start here first.Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of Vertex conjunct Saturn in synastry please? I thought I read somewhere that it's often present in relationships that don't get off the ground but I can't seem to find that again. Also have Saturn conjunct South Node which I think would be even more prohibitive to a relationship but would be interested to see what people's thoughts are on Vertex conj Saturn first really. Many thanks *edited to add: scratch that part about SN conj Saturn! My mistake the orb is way too wide... be grateful for small mercies haha!* IP: Logged |

have read that Saturn conjunct NN is when it doesnt get off the ground.. But not 100% sure.. But with Fishy his Saturn conjuncts my Vertex.. I cant really say what the energy feels like.. Just it feels very fated and karmic... Our lives have been intertwined for the last 8 years.. Actually longer but we knew of each other for 8 years. IP: Logged |

I have someone's Saturn/Venus exactly conjunct my Vertex (and Descendant), and it is.. a really, really rewarding relationship. Half erotic lovers, part best friends, part student/teacher. It can never be a conventional relationship though, which is what most people want when they approach synastry, but I don't know. I also have another person's Saturn conjunct my Vertex exactly, and he's an interesting character. He's like, 5 years younger then me and weirdly enough there's a strong air of chemistry around us. Both of these guys provide something I want to emulate. They make me want to refine my personality and mind into something better. IP: Logged |

Thanks Lioness yes you were absolutely right - I finally found this on the cafeastrology pages "Saturn conjunct the Nodes can be a separative aspect. I am not as yet certain of exactly why this is the case, but I have seen it time and time again where Saturn conjunct the North or South Node in a composite chart or in synastry is present in romantic relationships that don't get off the ground properly." http://cafeastrology.com/articles/relationshipastrologytips.html It's interesting what you and JFK say about it feeling fated and karmic - it's an accquaintance of mine (we've not even met properly just spoken on the phone) but every time I dismiss it (or try to) he keeps coming back and revealing more that we have in commone and the feeling of 'fate' grows. I do feel we'll meet at some point. Similar to how your connection sounds Lioness in that your relationship seems to keep going/keep renewing its ties and also similar to what you describe JFK in that he has something about him that I want to emulate and learn from. Something challenging me to become better and more honed in a strange kind of way. Thanks so much for your replies IP: Logged |

We even had a heartfelt talking saying goodbye and getting closure... Then an hr later we were talking like nothing ever happen... 4 days later he calls me, asking why I havent called him.... The exact day my mom got married to my dad her progressed Saturn was exactly conjunct my natal Saturn. I wasn't born yet, but the progressions in her chart on her marriage day compared to my natal chart are telling since there are lots of exact conjunctions. It seemed to me that her progressed chart confirmed that her marriage to my dad was fated and it would produce me. I personally believe all marriages and any subsequent children are fated to happen. Her progressed Saturn was in her 5th house (of kids!) conjunct my natal 5th house Vertex. IP: Logged |
