Topic: Air moons! Do you have a second "moon?"

My moon in libra baffles me. It thinks soooo much that my mercury (8th house) does all the feeling... like a honorary moon! This moon merc sextile is the only positive moon aspect I have. Everything else is negative or nonexistent. I Googled libra moon and yes, the descriptions made some sense. But I want to feeeeel with my moon  not just know or think. Not just rely on other planets to do the job. So I have a thinking moon and a feeling mercury. lol. Yea. How do you experience your moon?

Not an air moon, but my moon (Cancer) and mercury (Virgo) are domicile/exalted. Lol. Basically, I feel them exactly how they're supposed to feel. My moon is sextile both my mercury and venus who are in conjunction with each other.IP: Logged |

I think any intense feelings and emotions that rarely make an appearance come from my water pluto singleton.When i do get emotional It takes a long time for me to recover. IP: Logged |

Same as you, I have a feeling Mercury conjunct a thinking Moon both in mutual reception. Both are heavily aspected, I think before I feel...but I feel very deeply, a lot of things can affect me more than I let on, I can also be impressionable and highly intuitive. Moon and Mercury is my strongest planets.IP: Logged |

NahI'm just not very emotional lol

Oh yes I'm extremely impressionable too! I'm just a walking talking bait for some people. The rest of my planets often get upset about being included these unnecessary joyrides. They're all in such strong positions and my adult moon is like a toddler willing to walk off with anyone blowing bubbles and offering a box of beautiful chocolate. "No, moon, no!" I don't quite understand the question being asked here.I have an air Moon and Mercury (both air houses as well), but I think my Scorpio Mars, Scorpio Pluto in the 4th House and Scorpio IC does the feeling. My Mars is in an air house as well, though, but I have emotions similar to what Kerosene said.

You answered my question my question was: do you feel with your air moon? Or do you use other planets to help the process and possibly replace the strong emotions part of moon's job? In your case, you use your Scorpio influences. It is interesting! I use my packed 8th house for it. IP: Logged |

I saw something similar in a thread once. Aqua moon guy wrote the most beautiful poems to his wife but he couldn't say the feelings out loud. quote:

Another Libra Moon here. I'm not as emotionally flat as most people would probably think hearing I have my Moon in this sign. But I also have Mercury, my chart ruler, in the 4th house sextile Moon, Sun conjunct Neptune and Pluto is my only water planet. My emotions can get pretty intense, even overwhelming. ------------------

Another Libra Moon here and I wanted to say out of all of the Air Moons, Libra is less "thinky" in my opinion. It's kind of a dreamy, swirly, dancing romantic Moon so I don't often think of it as a "thinking" Moon, until someone mentions it.
As for me though I have a Fire Sun, Venus, Asc & Jupiter, so nothing holds me back, not even an Air Moon. lol. I blame it mostly on my Venus. It's in Sag, but in the 8th house. Also I have Pluto sq Venus, so the combo of Water & Fire can be great or terrible once my emotions are ignited. IP: Logged |

You know I've been hunting for my emotions everywhere: in my brain's sink, under the doormat, in my mind's dirty closet, outside in the lawn, taking apart the neurons for a clue, etc. I was thinking today (duh) and I found my libra moon emoting away. It is a sweet little moon with fluffy, adorable emotions and thoughts. It peeks around the corner, curious, and runs away. kinda reminds me of a very young girl overdressed, waiting for her friends to show up so they can play libra games. I've ignored my moon for sooo long that it never had a chance to grow up! When the rest of my planets are quiet, I can see it in action. It is shy! No wonder the rest of my planets were convinced my moon was awol or was cuckoo. This is not how they function. The rest of my chart is dark, strong, prominent or bold. my boyfriend has libra moon trine aquarius mercury (and jupiter)he often talks my ears off (which I love) and at first made me wonder if he had a gemini moon! he is very intellectual, rationalizes everything but he acts out of passion and ambition too (scorpio AC - capricorn mars) IP: Logged |

I have Gemini Moon conjunct Mars, in my 4th house. I often feel like I have 3 moons - Gemini, Aries and Cancer. My Virgo Mercury is pretty separate, but given that I have a Virgo stellium, it's a separate entity from my emotions - a bit of a "machine."  IP: Logged |
