so why is pluto aspecting planets such a big deal? why does it give this name 'hades' (emphasizing some special connection lol)

what aspects to planets = hades?

and which aspects count as making the planet a hade?

in this case, moon. what aspects to the moon are accepted for a hades moon?

thanks for any info on this.

lol it's not a "big deal" but it was worth pointing out this aspect.

"Hades Moon" Is when Pluto is in aspect to the Moon. Be it opposition, square, conjunction, trine.. Depending on the aspect and signs its different for everyone. I myself having the conjunction in Scorpio it home sign is considered a double dose..

Also the Moon is in its fall in Scorpio.
I'm still reading my book which is very deep interesting stuff.

But seriously if you want to look at this its best you start of on the web. I would give you abstracts from the book but its just too much i would not know where to start unless you knew something concerning this theme and asked me a particular question then maybe i could help more.

ps and im tired..lol

what about 'minor' aspects between pluto and the moon?

semi square, quintile, bi-quintile, etc.

and, when pluto makes aspects to planets, they are officially called Hades venus? for example?

hades asc?

lol

i found one small description on the web, it was tiny though. its not a popular aspect (my one)

This term is just uses towards the Moon/Pluto aspect. The Moon is sensitive possition in ones chart and having Pluto obviously alters the Moons expression.

Heres a link here
http://www.sydneyastrology.com/article2.htm

I think the minor aspects are also considered here.

I've never heard this term. I have Moon square Pluto.

I love Hades as a mythological figure, so that's cool! Although, chances are the aspect isn't too fun. From AtrologyWeekly: "Intimate relationships may be difficult, with emotions intense and extreme. An atmosphere of emotional brooding may surround you; and others may prefer to withdraw as they sense elemental danger." Super.

There's a book on Hades Moons--The Hades Moon: Pluto in Aspect to the Moon
by Judy Hall--described in this blog post (which also has good information): http://blog.depth-astrology.com/2007/09/hades-moon-series-part-3.html

that sounds exciting!

my pluto bi-quintiles my moon by 2dgre, but i take it this doesn't mean much, minor aspect.

i could only find one interpretation of moon bi-quintile pluto, and it was on cafe

Sounds fun huh? LL?

Get this mines on a critical degree too! lol

But really its pretty deep stuff and lots to learn as far as astrology goes in general. Never realised a person could write a whole book about this configuration! But then again i believe it!.

I have noticed that the big theme here is with the "Mother" I can def say that me and my mother are close and we are like best firends or more like sisters.

But there's one thing i would like to point out here is the near death experiences me and my mother had when she was pregnant with me. She was ill from day one till right up till she had me and i was born Premature by C-section (suppose to of bin an Aries )

Im the last out of five children..and she always said if i was her first pregnancy i would of bin her last chid.

My mum went through hell..i threatened so much to abort.

So yh there the near death theme there for me.

I think the Moon/Pluto affects for me as it in my 7H will be more apparent in my most intimate relationships and the types are tend to attract and be attracted to.

"Now, let’s consider the (Bi) Quintile parings found in the October 1st chart, borrowing heavily from Robert Hand’s explication of the planetary pairs: the Moon to Saturn, the Sun, Pluto, and Uranus; Saturn to the Sun, Pluto, and Uranus; the Sun to Pluto and Uranus; and Pluto to Uranus. A summary look at the pairings reveals:

Moon to Pluto = the spiritual drive to create a powerful drive for emotional transformation through subconscious desires."

Thats what i found so far on the Bi-quintile form http://www.alabe.com/quintiles.html

Simular to bi-quintile

"Moon quintile Pluto: Adopting a hard, ruthless, self-punishing style of behaviour in response to events. In some cases the person seems to be bent on self-destruction (physical or mental) through his behaviour; in other cases there is a façade of hardness and ruthlessness."

I can relate to that Hades Moon stuff. I even shared a life/death experience with mom. I was with her when she was shot by a schizophrenic that broke into our home 3 days before my 3rd birthday. She saved both of us like a lioness protecting herself and her cub. I experienced my mom as ultrasensitive, deep, intense, dominating, controlling, and abusive (both physically, verbally) to the point that I was afraid of her at times..especially when she got angry.....the angrier she gets, the less you can reason with her. When she's angry, she's very strong. She overreacts very easily. She's ultrasensitive to her environment. My Mom has Moon in Scorpio square Pluto with 4'04 orb which I consider wide for a kuiper belt object like Pluto. Her Pluto is highly aspected in the declinations. She has Sun sextile/parallel Pluto bilevel. She experienced traumas in childhood that include her mother leaving her when she was a baby, being in 13 fosterhomes, and was drugged against her will by psychiatrists for acting out because she wanted to go home from mental hospital which she got placed in because she tried to commit suicide in one of her foster homes.
I was in a foster home for some months when I was 2 years old,and so I was separated for my mom for awhile. Of course,I was separated from her for weeks after my mom was shot.

In a lot of ways, my mom was like the Hindu Goddess,Kali as well as Lilith.
Growing up with my mom made me respect the power of females. I grew up not believing that females are the weaker sex. My mom put that silly notion to rest.

I have Moon quincunx Pluto, but it has an orb of 2'19

but my Moon aspects the big kuiper belt objects.

trine Ixion - 2'15
square Varuna - '10
sextile Sedna - 1'06 ('39 in Right Ascension)
semisquare Eris - '09 ( Right Ascension, part of an 8th harmonic triangle of Eris semisquare Moon-Saturn square)

my Moon sesquiquadrates Sun/Pluto midpoint with only 4 minutes of arc,and that might help me relate to Moon-Pluto energy too.
semisquare Eris '09 (Right Ascension)

I guess my moon is a Hades moon. Its in virgo in the 8th house and sextile Pluto. I never thought that the pluto stuff really ever applied to my relationship with my mother. However, I can see now how it could apply to her circumstances early in my life, back when she was married.

Nessus is said to have a Saturn-Pluto type energy about it with it being a centaur that links Saturn and Pluto.. Saturn/Pluto midpoint is said to be Nessus-sensitive which means that aspect to Saturn/Pluto midpoint is like an aspect to Nessus. http://www.kentauren.info/menu/index.htm?page=/Raising.htm

My mom has Moon in Scorpio in 5th oppose Nessus in Taurus in 11th with 3 minutes of arc.

I've read snippits of Hades Moon online. I have Moon trine Pluto, the relationship with my mother, well lets just say it's non-existant and at an early age of three, my mom lost her mom in a car accident..so she never really knew her mother thus she really didn't know how to show "motherly love" and she went off into seclusion but I still love her.

I relate to what it said about Pisces Hades Moon though reading it made it feel like I was swallowing razors.

Hello, what a coincidence! Just recently, an astrological website I've been following posted a very extensive article on Moon/Pluto aspects.

It is chillingly accurate.

http://chirotic.wordpress.com/2009/02/20/moon-pluto-the-gathering-storm/

Here's another link that discuss Pluto indepth, along with examples such as Freud.
http://www.astro-noetics.com/hidden_pluto.html

aqua/scorp, your book sounds interesting, I have heard of it but never got a chance to see it. Maybe one day you could tell me some stuff from it.

Actually, a Hades Moon isn't as cool as it sounds to have. Chirotic journal has it right, it is having to deal with damaging, painful, intense and sometimes even cruel experience, for me at least. Perhaps because I have a tight hard aspect so I don't quite like it. It gives me psychosomatic disorders.

But at least I can to practice being Zen I always like to go "Zen, zen!!" whenever I feel a wave coming on hehe.

Its not really a placement I consider glamorous either. There's some stuff from the past I'd rather forget about, still affects me to this day. *sigh*

i have that Hades Moon book, how informative is that! with a very strong square moon pluto aspect (it's also the strongest aspect in my chart) i got a lot of comprehension regarding myths and their relation to past/present "hades moon" circumstances. very good investment.

What do you mean by "Virgo hades moon" ?

I'd like to read something insightful on the matter, not the generic descriptions all over the internet.

I have hades moon and have read Judy Halls book and did not keep it.

I have mine in virgo which is not as dramatic as scorpio but it is linked to pluto in libra by conjunction so it intensifies my interests 10 fold. As mine is placed in 5th house placidus I get really involved with love interests or them with me or both.
I have also read Jeff Green's book on Pluto and did not keep it. I found the items on the web to be very valuable as well as Donna Cunningham's work, I bought her book and it made a lot of sense. Different books work for different people on the subject.

I also have moon trine lilith what darkstarastrology might call a black moon and what is wierd is that I have physical reactions in my body to events or people. Like yesterday I was getting awful vibes from this person who is a complete stranger (we met each other for the first time yesterday) and today I have been physically sick 3 times. I am not infected as all my food and drink was bought sealed and was not left unattended. My emotions can be raw/very strong but usually correct and if I try to repress them they come out in volcanic eruptions like being sick (I was never allowed to have outbursts growing up).

DayandNight21, do you have a Moon-Chiron aspect? I've read that it can have a similar effect. I have the conjunction and I can relate to what you say. My Lilith doesn't aspect anything in my chart, that's why I'm asking.
