I have a Libra DC and really like a blend of Libra/Scorpio in people, but I'm also very 8th house heavy.

8th house attraction or to activate the 8th has more to do with planets in the said house (making aspects); aspects to ruler and/or 8th house planets. Additionally, planets conjunct the 8th house cusp very, very tightly are big activators.

lmao no, I like most people - not just those. But Libra/Scorpio are the types I wanna get deep/close with. It may not be the signs so much as the 'type'. I have liked Gemini types that have strong Scorpio energy as well- the Sun sign is soooooooo limiting in how it describes someone (unless they have a huge same-sign stellium involving their Sun, but you know).

It also would hugely depend on the Venus/Mars, ruler of the DC, etc. Even the 5th house, if it's stronger! It also depends on the type of 'like' you mean. 8th house usually just means those you want to share intimacy with (not just sex).

i prefer when the moon squares mine from capricorn rather than cancer, having it on my mars is alright over my midheaven i think, but it's alright there too

I have Cap on the eighth house cusp with Uranus and Neptune there. I'm not necessarily attracted to Capricorns, but there needs to be a mature side to them.

Leo,Scorpio,Aries on 8th house cusp or Mars,Sun,Pluto there barring aspects etc.You like to dominate sexually. Its typically you who takes the reins & "leads" the partner

Pisces,Sag,Libra,Taurus on 8th house cusp or Jupiter ,Neptune,Venus there barring aspects etc.You compromise a lot on your needs sexually.

Many times with Pisces/Libra involved, you have trouble differentiating your needs from those of the mate /partner . Sex also tends to not live up to romantic ideals.

Jupiter/Venus/Neptune ruled 8th house people are typically not even aware of their preferences -which makes it easy for them to be dominated or attract a more assertive partner who will "take charge" sexually.

So they end up "adjusting" themselves according to what the partner wants etc. This especially with Pisces or Neptune in 8th.

Gemini,Aquarius on the cusp of the 8th or Uranus there tend to like things to remain "chummy chummy". Heavy serious stuff is a turnoff and intimidating for them. Keep it playful and light.

Gemini likes dirty talk and Aqua doesn't mind everything and anything that doesn't always have to include penetration.

And since they(Uranus) can blow hot/cold, there are some spontaneous moments where they will seem "distant" in bed or may even be distant physically; postponing intimacy with you or unable to be consistent.

Like Aqua/Uranus in 8th, watch out for Mood swings as they can be moody. One minute hot and then the next aloot and disengaged. This especially if Moon is in Gemini,Aqua or Cap.

I never really know what I want in bed and sex can be an all round confusing experience for me many times. And since I don't pursue it aggressively(Mars in Libra).I get to attract partners who are quite domineering(Mars conjuncts the Dsc)-which complicates matters for me as they don't please me.

Add to that Uranus in 8th and I can go without physical contact with another for a long time. I do blow "hot /cold" as being intimate with someone is somewhat a scary thing for me. I can just "drop off" or lose the "feeling" when things get too serious etc.

One thing is definitely true, I'm very, very, very serious when I'm deeply attracted to someone or when it comes to sex. Also, I think in an sassastrology article it was mentioned that of course 8th house is also what you attract and I do attract people that are strongly saturnian. But of course that might also be in part my other strong capricorn placements. Problem is, often they are too saturnian for me, if they don't have the mix I mentioned above and are too heavily capricornian, I'm actually turned off/bored.
