That's called Venus Return, right? Nothing will happen (I mean it's not like something is supposed to happen) but we're supposed to spend this day BEAUTIFULLY  That's like transiting Sun conjunct your natal Sun. What do you do on that day? Celebrate your birthday.IP: Logged |

I've read on several sites that during this time it's possible to start a new relationship. I don't think it's just a one-day thing. It just happens a lot. Venus is fast, so it conjuncts your sun once a year (or more) and hits your other planets that often as well. It hits with the conjunction, the trine, the square etc so you get thirty of these hits per year or so. Obviously people don't start a new relationship every time it hits, so the interpretation is more a "flavor" of the day/s than a hard impactful defining moment.
Since you are a child of Venus, these times will feel great to you. It will be one of those days when the sunlight shining into your living room has that special kind of glow, or the breakfast coffee smells so good. You could feel like going out and going dancing so you can wear beautiful clothes and listen to music. You might sparkle more that night and be filled with smiles and appreciation at being alive. This is more favorable for starting a romantic relationship than a day when Saturn is sitting on your moon and you feel heavy and the energy feels so oppressive it almost makes it hard to breathe. Those days you might wish you could stay home when you can't and have to force yourself to complete your responsibilities.The planets that move fast are similar to getting a whiff of perfume when someone walks by compared to the slow heavy big boy planets that just sit there in your space for weeks/months/years permeating your world with their stench. In my lengthy list of significant life events over 50 years no Venus-related event was timed during Venus return. I've had a few such events in which Venus made transits to natal Sun, Moon, etc.All planetary returns are opportunities for a reset, a new cycle of the nature of the planetary energies. Just as we reaffirm the importance of the individual on their birthday (roughly the solar return), so we can reaffirm or renew our thinking (Mercury return), loving (Venus), doing (Mars), etc. They are more personal moments rather than windows of opportunity (by themselves) for external events. ------------------

My Venus is conjunct my Moon/SN, and square Mars, aspects other planets, too, so my Venus return hits all of them. IP: Logged |
