Neptune is currently trining my mars and squaring my Sun. All I want to do is stare into space..... Anyone know what this Transit truly means except wanting to run away from everything and anything, dissolve all that one has worked for?? IP: Logged |

I'm working on an article to describe the major Neptune transits. I'll post or link it here when done. Neptune of course is the imaginative faculty, but it is also a transpersonal challenge to individual ego. During its transit square natal Sun a person can experience lower vigor and confidence, but may gain more insights into the subtler aspects of energy and place in the world. Neptune's transit trine natal Mars is a flowing aspects that can allow creativity, but daydreaming alone may not get you much. Both transits tend to lessen physical action or outward action, but the purpose will be found in more creative responses to life, not avoidance of its challenges. Under the (natal or transit) influence of Neptune people tend to pull away from the harsher effects of living fully in ego and competition. It is an opportunity to be perceptive about what the problems are, but come up with more elegant, inspired approaches to them. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

The last time Neptune was in Pisces Tesla invented electricity. Neptune in Pisces signifies a spiritual breakthrough.IP: Logged |

That's the Neptune effect lol. Its the "is it happening?" / " when will it happen?" and "what is happening?" all at once. I understand Nep transit to be wipe-out or some search for fulfilment. I link it to logotherapy. The search for meaning. The search for purpose. Neptune sits on my Sun.The fulfilment of ideals is the focus of life.Problem is those ideals are not clear, not fixed, not tangible and quietly unsettling.Always a thirsty unsettling yearning never fully quenched. I look forward to this report INDEED! Thank you all for your insight - I definitely knew it was happening. For the past year I have been go go go go but then all of a sudden started to sleep more and let go of a bunch of responsibilities (I quit my office job so I can focus on being an artist/actor more). I wanna know this too. tNeptune is conjunct my Mars, square Moon/Venus now. Hate it. I've been feeling deluded, lost and in no mood for anything. Also, nothing seems to be going the way I want it.IP: Logged |

Try having Neptune transit squaring your Nodes...... it’s also sitting on my Mercury right now. Second about looking forward to that article. 😅 IP: Logged |

@Kannon: I desperately need some deeper insight into the Neptune square natal Mars transit!I've had dating opportunities present themselves which I put down to the Jupiter conjunct natal Mars transit in my 5th House (my past history has alsways shown this transit to give my love life a kick up the butt). Unfortunately, this time its occurring alongside a Neptune square natal Mars transit (thought it had passed but Neptune retrograde has been activated it again until February next year). So I feel stuck. Jupiter is igniting romantic opportunities but everything I read about Neptune square Mars says I should stand still and do nothing and keep a very low profile - if I do all I'll experience is disillusionment, toxic scenarios and thwarted expectations. But by the time Neptune's passed so will have Jupiter - all those opportunities will have gone. Is there *any* chance Neptune squaring Mars might represent bringing fantasy into reality? Or is it pretty much a guarantee of leading you on a wild goose chase? IP: Logged |

^ Hey, I'm experiencing the same thing. Jupiter is transiting my 7th house now but tNeptune says all I'll experience are delusions and disappointments. Made me so hesitant to get serious with anyone. Sucks. IP: Logged |

Capguy75, no it's not a guarantee of a wild goose chase. Transits don't deal in outcomes. In order to understand astrology, especially transits, you'll have to divorce all notions of outcomes from transient astrological weather. The transit of Neptune square natal Mars is not a time of vigor and high confidence, so don't attempt any new effort that depends on that -- unless you are already committed and have a plan in place that involves assistance from others. This transit is a time of ego cleansing. So you'll want to understand the essence of any dreams you want to realize during this period and make your efforts without attachment to the short-term results. This might be only one of various transits affecting natal Mars now (or Sun, vital energies overall). So it does not by itself determine all conditions. Just marks a period of a few years in which you have lower energy levels and need to get greater clarity about your motivations and how you use your energy. That's what this transit is supposed to do. Don't fight it, go with it, so long as you don't fall into a what's the use attitude. Yes, it can allow for your energies to be applied more creatively, more imaginatively. That may allow some efforts to come to fulfillment, but it may be more a reprioritization of your efforts. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

Thanks Kannon. That makes a lot of sense given what's happened to me over the last couple of years. Really appreciate it.IP: Logged |

I have this transit currently conjuncting my Pisces Moon in the 12th and trining both Mercury and Pluto. I've had what I would categorize as "mystical" dreams and experiences during this time, including a profound spiritual awakening. Yet I was and still am having trouble identifying what is actually ingrained in truth, since I was receiving what appeared to me as divine signs and messages and hesitant whether I should fully trust them or not. There's this heavy fog surrounding me that is currently keeping me from fully knowing anything. I can't wait until this transit passes because I hate this feeling of utter confusion. All one can do is allow the transit to take place naturally and keep centered in the now. It's rather easy to be "away with the fairies" and perhaps lose one's sanity with Neptune transits, so it's a good time to spend time in nature with feet firmly planted in order to stay fairly grounded. No quoting please. IP: Logged |

And that's the key -- staying grounded. It's rather counter-intuitive with this type of transit, but keeps one from getting engulfed by the unclarity. These experiences with strong Neptune transits gain greater clarity afterwards in hindsight, much like some Pluto transits. I'm going through Neptune opposite my Asc & square my MC now and I've learned these last couple years or so to not bite on the varied and changing perceptions as if any of them are meant to clarify the confusion. They're part of it. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |
