Does anyone know if Venus in Aries women get on better with men as opposed to women? Not that these women cant have female friends but it seems since venus represents what we like that Aries venus women prefer those with "male" energy.

I am also wondering if the placement of venus in Aries is troubling energetic influence to the formation of friendships with females?

Hi, I'm a Venus and Aries Mars (conjunct). I have always gotten along better with guys. Well, that sounds bad. It sounds like I have girl drama and fights, which is so not the case. I just find I like hanging out with guys more because I find them more laid back. I find that most girls are gossipy and prissy. Some are just plain cruel to each other.

I'm picky about my girl friends. And the ones I do have are laid back and easy going. I respect the fact that with guys, their attitude is "what you see is what you get." And I find that to be a more comfortable energy to be around.

^^^ spot on!

I also find that sometimes I come across too aggressive and blunt with my comments and jokes and stuff for girls. I blame Aries Mars/Venus trine Sag Asc for this lol! Guys can handle my jokes better and I handle their jokes alright.

The fact that I have to sort of mind how sensitive girls can get, sometimes it gets tiring to hang out with girls... hahaha However, I have many female friends too and they are the ones who are okay with my sarcastic remarks.

My sister has Venus in Aries and I think this placement makes her admire strong females and those who challenge the patriarchal system.

She has a strong entrepreneurial spirit. And this could be because Aries energy is echoed a lot in her chart.

She gets on with guys fine. Many of her so-called male friends actually crush on her. But I don't think she sees them in that way.

She positively loathes the "dumb, ditzy" girly types. And is very hard on females who are all too willing to be the "submissive" or play the "wifey" who stands ready to serve the hubby.

Most females don't warm up to her as she seems to be too direct and opinionated.

I think its a position that is to be cherished in a females chart-as it challenges the male-privileged status quo-as does the moon in Aries. And this is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY

Many times I think that other females have some difficulty getting along with these females because they are so direct and dare to be themselves; like it or not.

Women may be taught at an early age to "apologize" for this existence,be submissive ,long suffering and put themselves last. These women find that pill hard to swallow.

As such, the male privilege enablers(mostly women too mind you) will try and keep these females "in check" by degrading them and questioning their attractiveness or femininity in magazines, talk shows or movies in subtle ways/overt way i.e a "real woman" wears make-up,knows how to walk in heels, is a great cook, wants children, knows how to keep a man etc.

How many times has an Aries Moon/Venus woman been told to "stop acting like a boy" or perhaps been teased for being a lesbian etc.

Mothers who have such daughters and are ignorant of the strength of their spirit and will often try and "break" them so that they can align to the roles that women are given.

So when these ladies rebel against such conformity-even from their mothers, aunts, sisters etc. who are hell bent on making them "right", those relationships suffer.

But these Aries females need not blame themselves for listening to their inner voice and impulses to be who they are. That is true beauty. The self-acceptance and expression of who you are!!

There is a thread I want to write about the spiritual undertones of having Aries positions-especially for women.

To share my thoughts on what I believe to be such a dynamic and invigorating energy that is so misunderstood as to be "violent", "selfish" and foolhardy. And this is not its intent.

Venus in Aries female here. I have both female and male friends, but I do get along better with men. I'm actually very shy (at least initially), but when I'm comfortable with someone, I become very direct...not aggressive though.

On the surface I appear very sweet and gentle, but if someone physically attacks me, then all bets are off. For instance, when
I was 12 years old, I beat up a 14 year old boy who physically attacked me. I don't put up with jerks.

Thanks Pixie Jane and you other ladies for the feedback!! I guess not every women with Aries stelliums are Lesbains yet certainly they admire strength and courage in others, including males. I just think venus in Aries likes people who aren't melancholy, wet blanket types as venus is about what we like in others as well

I've always gotten along better with males. Most women are too gossipy and catty for my taste.

Why talk about somebody behind their back when you can say it to them and get a reaction?

I've noticed that I get along best with Cardinal female types, if any. Capricorn and Aries women are the ones I usually end up having great friendships with. I just mesh with Aries and I just have this deep seated respect for Cappy ladies. It's usually how I identify them before I even know their birthday. I'm not sure what about them illicits this from me. Maybe my 10H Moon.

But yes, as a general rule, I prefer the company of males. Even this being the case, I would never want to be considered "just one of the guys". I like the fact that I can just be me, but still be seen as feminine. Whereas my abrasiveness can make other females see me as unlady like

The two that come up in my mind are two women I've known for a long time, one is a taurus sun/aries venus and the other is an aries sun/aries venus.

From what I've seen, they don't necessarily get along better with men. It's more like they get along better with people who aren't on the far ends of the scale - extremely "girly" or macho.

12muddy- yes exactly. I really do not understand very prissy girly girls. It makes me cringe. Or girls that have to be explained the rules of a game. And they try to be cute and ditzy by choosing a team simply because they like the color of their jersey. UGHHHH lol

I think I just lost a friend with Venus in Aries. But to be honest, she has a tendency to be quite flaky (Sun in Pisces). She doesn't open up to a lot of people, although superficially she is really popular. I think she does have female friends (she had 6 bridesmaids) but who knows...

What about a Venus Aries with a Cancer Mars? Would she be as direct as all the others above described?

Awkward connection between her husband and I. The 3 of us have some telepathic synchronicity going on. The first day I met her I told her she looked like a friend of mine that just got married. She seemed excited and said "yes! maybe that means I'll get married too" and we agreed. A few months later she was engaged and they got married last year. Didn't meet him until after they were married. He and I have powerful, "true love" synastry; in some ways it seems like we should have been a couple instead of them. She told me they fight all the time and they have a grand cross in their composite chart.

So yeah, she's pretty intuitive as a Pisces so I think she sensed this and it's just awkward in general. They're good people though.

Aries Sun/Venus/Moon/Mercury/BML here. I've been a tomboy during childhood but later became comfortable and love my own femininity.

I can be quite assertive and direct, despite my Virgo AC appearance. I also work in IT with a more technical role.

If you ask me, I'd say men can be gossipy and petty too. :P I had a superior bringing an old disagreement on topic during evaluation when I already agreed with him and acknowledged he was right. Then saw other colleagues gossiping heartlessly. Oh and both sexes can sexually objectify.

I get along with females generally, even thought I don't naturally get in the group. With guys I may have more common topics because I'm a sci-fi, games and science fan. But then there are women interested in these too.

My mother and one of my best female friends have this.
They both go well along with women, more so than men but both have had male friends.
My mum has a tendency of thinking she has a very great taste (she does), but if you don’t like the same you have bad taste lol. She doesn’t mean it badly, but she is proud and we can have some fierce arguments about something she thinks I should wear, style my hair etc. that’s for me to choose!

My girlfriend is bisexual and not as fierce when it comes to her likes. But very opinionated in general. She loves fiercely in relationships

I am an Aries Venus woman. My Venus is also conjunct my Lilith and MC. For most of my life most of my friends were men - I found them so much easier to deal with than women. However, in my late 40's I made it a point to be aware of my "presence" and started to actively cultivate female friendships. I pretty much only have female friends now, and I love it! The trick for me was to tread lightly in the beginning and let them get to know my true self rather than my warrior woman side.

What I've come to find fascinating about Venus in Aries is in Vedic astrology, the Western zodiac 12°40' - 26° Aries (the Revati Nakashtra, akin to decans) is considered the most exalted position for a Venus to be born in, counterintuitive to what some cookbook Western astrology proposes of Venus in the sign. Revati Venus is considered a blessing, functioning in it's highest form, from a place of divine love.
