Does this transit always indicate some form of midlife crisis? I have tUranus conjunct MC, Jupiter and SN and nothing is happening! I’m waiting for Uranus to kick into overdrive (I like Uranus), but nothing..Everything is just...still.

I did manage to “build a bridge” between my newly found brother and mother. They seem to get along without too much drama.

Is not your natal Uranus at 3Scorpio02, charlie?

If so, the transit of Uranus to natal Uranus happened when that planet passed through 02Taurus02 to 04Taurus 02. ... Which (I think) occurred in three passes :-

1. 2nd July to 8th August 2018 (direct)
2. 9th August to 13th September 2018 (retrograde)
3. 14th April to 19th May 2019 (direct)
4. 11th November 2019 to 12th January 2020 (retrograde)
5. 12th January to 9th March 2020 (direct)

It (usually) requires the chart owner to make some kind of decision/choice between pursuing a path that takes them in a new direction and remaining on their current path.

Yes, so tUranus has already passed over but I can't think of anything "Uranus" that's heppened! I'm almost disappointed..Or maybe something has happened but have yet to be "set in stone".

No, I didn't have a mid-life crisis during this transit. Not everyone has a mid-life crisis. However, for some people who've let their work or home life become too binding, safe, or mundane, this transit accentuates the Uranus effect enough for a year or two to encourage them to be more adventurous or to do something to break out of their doldrums.

Uranus is retrograde currently. When Planets are retrograde, they tend to go within more, rather than be as overt in the world, with the exception of Mercury it seems.

And Uranus can just act or come in as intuitive insights in a general sense anways, as well as a tendency towards a general extremism during the time (like major mood swings, more OCD, etc).

We tend to most notice the transits of Planets that we are most strongly attuned to Natally. So if Uranus is not a particularly highlighted Planet in your chart, it may not be as dramatic or in your face as it may be for someone who has Uranus strongly highlighted in their Natal.

Transit Uranus opposed my natal Uranus from 20th January 1988 to 15th December 1988 (with an orb of 1 degree or less). ... And the crisis began in January 1988, with a career promotion that I did not want - but was obligated (by Saturn/childhood conditioning) to accept.

However, although I knew then that my professional career was no longer the right place for me to be, the Saturn duties/responsibilities/circumstances/"conditioning" prevented me from pursuing a new direction until May 1993. ... And it was 1998 before I recognised that event/promotion as having been the start of my astrological mid-life crisis.

Moreover, even now, I cannot describe how difficult it was for me to move away from the (Saturn/childhood-conditioned) path of "living to work" and onto the (Uranus/be-yourself) path of "studying astrology for pleasure". ... And nor can I describe the contentment/"peace-on-Earth" that has come from doing so.

Interesting, Graham! What houses were involved in your case? I have natal Uranus in 3H and obviously the transit is in 9th. I would be lying if I said my knowledge on these two houses is expansive..

I have natal Uranus in 9th, at 29Gemini45 and conjunct MC (at 29Gemini56) ... So, a Uranus transit over the cusp of the 4th house (of psychological foundations) activating a natal Uranus that had always "promised" to question the value of having a career/living-to-work.

And what sits at 0Capricorn59 on the cusp of (and in) the 4th house? Natal Jupiter, striving to be "a credit to the family" - and trine its ruling planet, (childhood-conditioning) Saturn.

Graham, just wanted to note that 1998 seemed to be a very big and intense year for a number of us in general, as well. This seems to be related to the more exact Galactic Core-Winter Solstice Solar-Earth alignment then. According to Jenkins at least, this had started around 1980 or so, and reach exact alignment in 98.

Didn't you decide to adopt {an adult} child over that time period?

And also, you looked for land to purchase for your idea of creating a 'Tiny Homes' Village?

'Change' ... You made changes in your life, that helped OTHER people {with handicaps of sorts} survive theirs.

You are a *hero*

Uranus Opp Uranus represents a corridor-- portal into the 2nd part of your life. For some people with Saturn-delays, it's a graduation from those. Some long-term transits occur slowly to where you only notice them looking in retrospect.

In the UK, Margaret Thatcher was the Prime Minister from May 1979 to November 1990. ... And that was indeed an exceptionally intense period, which changed the UK into a "me first" society - until Covid19 reminded everyone of the need to help each other.
