The Chiron sign reveals the nature of the wound, whilst the house reveals only the area of life where its issues are most likely to manifest.Hence ... there is no best-house-placement ... but I'd choose the 2nd house (of own values/resources) rather than 3rd/communications, 9th/expansion-of-horizons or 12th/hidden-psychological-enemies. What's CHiron doing in your chart? Are there planets stressing it or supporting it? That will tell you if it expresses itself as a wound or as a healer.IP: Logged |

there is no really good placement. Pain hurts no matter where it is. I have it in the 4th and maybe I would choose that cuz I am used to it. I think the 7th is super hard. The 3rd often has learning disabilities. The 8th can have abuse. The 12th is hidden and seems to come out and the person can't figure it out. You can see how it comes out by the aspects to the Chiron like opposition to the 6th can be hidden pain in the 12th coming out as sickness. So, the moral of the story is that there is no good placement for Chiron. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? It's like what I said about Jupiter and someone asking the same question. There really isn't a best House for any planet/symbol. There are some Signs and Houses that Planets are more comfortable in, but ultimately, whatever is best for the Soul growth lessons of the individual, is what is best for the individual, and that can be any House or Sign depending. Speaking in a general sense though, if one wants Chiron to be more in the background/weaker, then Cadent Houses and at least 12+ degrees away from the Angles will be the least prominent in the self or outer life. But perhaps Chiron being amplified/highlighted is what is needed for a particular Soul to grow more? Really just depends. One cannot accurately judge the negativity or positivity of these things without knowing the entire Soul and Spirit history that is connected to and affecting the individual. With that said, when it comes to the main Planets and their connections to the centers of the body (endocrine glands), generally a preponderance of the slower vibratory symbols with a lack of mid and faster vibratory symbols to counterbalance, tends to equal a selfish, separative, and more towards destructive person. At least, that is how they used their freewill in the past. If we are all are, unconsciously or consciously, trying to remember and grow towards conscious Source and Love/Oneness awareness and attunement, then in a more objective, though temporary sense, being predominantly of the slow vibratory symbols is a "bad" or rather undesirable condition--however, key word is temporary. One lifetime in the grand scheme, is but a drop in a bucket. There are some Souls that are slow vibratory in this life, whose Spirits have projected/experienced very, very fast vibratory lives, or even overall pattern. Some are just one off, "fallen angels" in a sense. This is why we are asked to not judge--not because judging is inherently bad or limiting, but because we lack so much necessary/pertinent information. Truly, most of us, most of the time are quite ignorant. However, there are "hard case, repeat offenders" out there. Both Souls and/or their larger, original Spirit selves that just don't learn and keep making the same mistakes, and problems for others, over, and over, and over. Some of these were present among the Pharisees, Sadducee's, and Scribes, and Yeshua spoke rather harshly to these, indicating that if they persisted in their destructive, separative ways, that their destiny was Soul and/or Spirit death (via Consciousness entropy/chaos). He likened it to being dumped in the trash heaps of Gehenna; where matter was rotting away. He could see into their Soul and Spirit histories and was not speaking lightly, but from knowns. P.S., I see Chiron as a mid vibratory symbol and as a more minor note than the main Planets we use--hence, in a sense, it's a bit more neutral overall in the grand scheme of things. Edited to fix a mistake IP: Logged |

Chiron in the second is bad for money, chiron in the third is bad for communication, chiron in the ninth is bad for long distance traveling and religion, and chiron in the twelfth is depressed and lonely but doesn't show it.IP: Logged |

The usual negativity about Chiron denotes a lack of understanding of this planet and its symbolism. Chiron is the wounded healer. Whatever happened to the HEALER part of the equation? Some of you are stuck in the wound. Maybe for your own evolutionary and spiritual growth you need the explore the HEALER part of Chiron. This was just a friendly astrological advice. You can do with it as you please, and if that includes staying stuck in the wound, oh well...

As someone who has Chiron conjunct my Aries Sun, Ceres, and Mercury, I'm just going to say that it is possible to be grateful for all that is good in your world, and to still have a lot of trouble with things that have happened either to you, or in your life. You can have a great relationship, and still need healing in other areas. You might not need to heal anything, but can still recognize when someone else does. Healing can be messy. Life is messy at times. Also, never tell me that "it could always be worse." I'm well aware. A lot of people are. I also don't really think that having it conjunct my Sun gives me any kind of special insight. I joined a photography challenge for December, hoping to have more to feel good about, but today's prompt is "What have you learned this year?" I haven't learned anything new, but I've been reminded of things, both good and bad. How people can band together and help each other, if they feel like it, and have the opportunity to be of help, but also how some will turn a blind eye to whatever is happening, just so long as they have what they need and/or want. We can all be guilty of it, but things have been amplified this year, for all of us. I'll probably edit this out, so please don't quote. I'm now in a Hallmark mood, but I'm going to look for a Christmas tree, so hopefully that will change this afternoon. IP: Logged |

Hi Belage! We do heal through pain and use that to help others, but really, I wish I did not have so much childhood pain(Chiron in the 4th) but God knows what we need! ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

@ Teasel, anything conjunct the sun gets "combust". Vedic astrology has very excellent understanding of combustion, and I would suggest you read up on it. IP: Logged |

Sorry to hear that. Also, your generation had Chiron in stressful aspects to Uranus and Neptune. Don't you think this is what makes Chiron more painful than it would normally be? IP: Logged |

My point is, we should not be labeling Chiron a BAD, BAD planet. As astrologers, we should know better than that. IP: Logged |

Out of these, I would choose Chiron in the 9th. I definitely wouldn't move to a place where Chiron would fall in my 2nd house.IP: Logged |

Thank you Belage. Chiron taught all Hero's in greek mythology. Astrologically he points to key-teachings we need to fulfill our life's soul-epic. These are to be cared for, understood, accepted, and integrated with our being - healed - made whole - in order for us to mature as souls. It makes no sense to whine over the fact that he may point us to a wound, and the notion that the wound is 'un-healable' is a load of b*llsh*t. Revina: Kannon is right in what he said, it is of little use to overanalyze things like this. Wherever you find yourself, you will be given teaching-occurences that help you heal what you must heal. Focus on being receptive and welcoming to these occurences always, rather than attempting to change them, because you can't. In terms of where you should go, simply go to where you feel most attracted. IP: Logged |

I'm not sure that I care, really, but thanks. I don't think of it as a bad placement, I just get tired of people being told to "get over it" or that they shouldn't be feeling whatever they're feeling. IP: Logged |

belage, i love your point of view. i have chiron conjunct sedna. superficial searches on the internet made me feel cursed but after studying the symbolism of both, i dont see it as a bad thing anymore. i prefer to see it as a reserve of personal power. quote: Originally posted by nomad-monad: These are to be cared for, understood, accepted, and integrated with our being - healed - made whole - in order for us to mature as souls. It makes no sense to whine over the fact that he may point us to a wound, and the notion that the wound is 'un-healable' is a load of b*llsh*t.

Astrocartography/astrogeography and relocation astrology cannot change the signs of natal planets or the aspects between them. ... Thus, what changes is WHERE (and with WHO) these influences manifest ... The What, Why, When and How will not change - because "no matter where you go, there YOU are".

Moving your residence does not change the imprint made upon you by the birth chart you were born with, which came with a soul level intention. It cannot make a person change from a Virgo rising personality, for example, to a Libra rising personality. If it could, the evidence would be so pronounced that even casual observers would have noticed it long ago and it would be widespread knowledge. Symbolic fiction. It just doesn't work that way. Changing where you live cannot change where you were born which is an essential component of the astrological imprint. That's already done and sealed in. However, of course you can move to a place that holds better opportunities for connections with others, personal growth, etc. If you want to move to a place that holds better potentials for you, I really recommend you have a direct conversation with the universe and ask that it point you clearly like a neon sign to the best place on the planet for you to flourish. Do it while in a state of peace, with a positive, believing attitude of expectation. It will take a bit of time, but it will cut through any and all outside conjecture. You'll know it for yourself. Others may even unknowingly be the vehicles of this synchronicity when mentioning an area or city. Or it may come to you in a dream and leave no doubt. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy: Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |
