What are the difference between these, and should you be looking at one vs another when it comes to ones 'direction' in life or transits?IP: Logged |

Astrologer Kevin Burke explains this clearly at :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?] http://www.youtube.com/watch? In practice, I use the True Node (for the reasons given by Kevin in the second video above). ... However, to properly consider your intellectually-stimulating question in the depth it warrants, we really need to explore the progressions + transits of the true and mean nodes in a specific example/chart. So ... do you have a celebrity chart example of an event that occurred during a significant "transit node to natal node" period? IP: Logged |

Mean Node is calculated using a simpler formula. That's the main difference. Moon gyrates. It doesn't have a smooth movement. True Node is calculated using the full formula to get the most accurate position. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy: Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |
