Would someone have great difficulty handling confrontation, due to the house position? Even if it trines Jupiter by less than a degree, and is the ruler of his 29 degree Scorpio Rising (if it matters, he does have Sagittarius Jupiter In The 1st House).

Discordant, strifey home/family life.

Keeps anger 'bottled up'

ASC @ 29deg may signify problems with expression overall - I do not have the data/experience to see if it's true, but the symbolism works

ASC Scorp may also alone indicate 'problems' with expression

I have mars in the 4th, but not in Aries. Scorpio ascendant, too.

I was the peacemaker, and still can be. I don’t like confrontation, but can handle it better now. My sun is in Aries, so mars rules it. I have never related to mars and Aries being all about fighting. I loved to dance, I was artistic, and I processed things I was going through, via drawing, painting, and writing. I’ve dealt with some violence, and will no longer be pushed around.

I see, thank you! How is your Mars aspected? Has your Scorpio Rising been more prevalent in your teens (13-19_, youth (20-29), or adult years (30+)? Does it have any aspects?
