Plu is never really as romantic as people would like to believe it is. And I often see synastry connections involving Pluto as similar to a Pluto transit. If you stick it out.

Pluto on the Mc may suggest that there is clarity that is needed by you when it comes to life direction or focus(Mc). Perhaps you are "all over the place" ? Undecided ? Unfocused? etc. So this partner will help you live or die.

So someone with a Pluto natal aspect to your Midheaven in a romantic relationship will certainly spark an increased passion and drive in you. This perhaps to "make something of yourself"?

It doesn't always come in a romantic way though. As Pluto can take you down to the underworld where being mild/ cerebral is not enough. You need to fight for your life.

People who have endured abuse from partners typically have Pluto strong synastry aspects. The experience with the abuser clarified to them who they are and what they want out of life i.e maybe the abuser was always saying to them "u will never amount to anything" ? or "u are nothing without me"?
