It's definitely a reforming of your personal energy, and to an extent your identity. An underlying pressure is created to give you a bit of a push out of the comfort zone of your sense of what you are capable of. So it brings some added ambition — just make sure it isn't for power itself. It tests your strength. If you don't know yourself reasonably well it can feel like a crisis, at least at certain points (when the transit is reinforced by other planets or when experiencing other challenging Saturn transits in addition).
It tests your strength, patience, persistence, and self-control. It has a way of showing you where you are lacking in these to spur growth.
This also means that if you are not taking care of your health properly you may experience some kind of illness or new nagging symptom trying to communicate to you about it.
Consider it a good primer to experience well before Pluto makes its conjunction to your natal Moon.
However, because of its south declination around 22.5° Pluto's transit to your Sun overlaps with its transit parallel your natal Uranus 22S32 and contra-parallel your natal Mars 22N58.
