Last year my predictions I posted came true... lets see if I nail it this year again Aside from knowing that The Oscars, Academy Awards, from time-to-time award based on politics, as Monique, last year winner for her role in “Precious” in a supporting actress category, said accepting her award: “ I want to thank the Academy for making it about the PERFORMANCE and not about the politics.” Total Sagittarius style! I ho...pe this years awards are based on Performance, as their viewership is decreasing due to people realizing this, such as last year’s Sandra Bullock and Jeff Bridges winners. My money, as I posted before is on Best Actress: Nathalie Portman in The Black Swan; her performance was incredibly transformable and dynamic! Best Actor, without a doubt, Colin Firth, in A King’s Speech. Javier Bardem may have a shot at it, but due to being a foreign film, it may lose—my money is on Colin Firth. Best Supporting Actor, Christian Bale in The Fighter; I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes to Jeffrey Rush in the King’s speech, as the Academy likes to award Drama films… I liked his performance better, but due to Christian Bale playing a crack addict, he may be the front runner, as it was a very touching, and powerful role. Best Supporting Actress without a doubt, Melisssa Leo in the Fighter… I don’t even know why Amy Adams was nominated—Trying to act tough sh!t, doesn’t go with her, as much as I like her, sorry! Did like Helena Bonham Carter, in “The King's Speech,” I do feel it should go to Melissa Leo. Best Picture should really go to “The King’s Speech” as it’s a very good, Oscar type film—and, honestly, great film. Here again though, if “The Social Network” wins it’s THE OBVIOUS as to why: to promote! http://oscar.go.com/See IP: Logged |

I loved Jeffrey Rush, but Christian bale was really the front runner, due to his role being more complicated, which he nailed, a true addict! IP: Logged |
