Myspace, not Fakebook. lol. They both have their usefullness, but I like the freedom of expression and the creativity factor of myspace better. A timely question....I heard that FB is going to be charging for their service soon.

Both are sexual in a way. I see facebook, I read fukbuddy (ask Lara for these technical terms)
I see myspace, I read "your place or mine"

Just contributing.

Think I got the jist of the question, yeah?

None. None of the others too.
Im on facebook, but not keen. Cant see them, just look at the pic/description and imagine what they are like. Ok for a start, but Im old fashioned and prefer the face-to-face contact.

None. Really. Too much hassle and work involved.

You're right Lexx, not as many use myspace anymore, but there are still PLENTY.

Again, I think it's all about what you really wish to do with it. For playing games, dropping a random line, b-day wish, say hi to folks you don't see, take a random quiz and such FB is fine. To me, it's like work, when I log on and have 90 requests to go through for this and that. I don't mind it for those I'm close to, but it seems insincere from the others. It's getting to the point where I dread logging on.

Myspace is complete freedom to visually design your idea of what you respresent. Some folks keep it simple, others go all out. I love looking at the myriad of profiles. Everyone on FB basically has the a similiar profile, with that lovely glaring white background.
Myspace gives you the option to use your blog for creative writing, and you can subscribe to others blogs which is great for networking ideas. The games aren't as good, I will admit that, but it will be improved, and besides if I'm not really there for that reason.
I have met so many INTERESTING people on myspace that would not dare represent their "real" personality on myspace.

I think of FB as "the office" and myspace as "the party."

I guess that is why they offer more than one, different strokes and all that.

If you have problems with the "meat market" types, you can set your profile to private on FB. My problem with Myspace is I'm tired of all the friend requests from fake friends saying how they saw my pic and fell in love...blah blah blah... the pic is probably fake too. And after being scammed from some scum bag from nigeria out of around $15,000 total loss... long story, but that's my issue.

Lol I've been replying to all the FB threads today

Facebook because it's better designed, maintained and has better privacy settings. Both have creeps, but Myspace has loser creeps that can't string a proper sentence together. Also Myspace has a lot of viruses and bots and just dumb advertisements everywhere.

I prefer FB. I agree it has less bots and stuff and myspace takes a long time to load, which is annoying.

I really don't like FB's new "privacy" features though. You used to be able eto be completely invisible, but not anymore.

I guess niether really but when I tried to deacitivate my facebook account I had to here the whole "your such a shut in Kat..blah blah" speech, that to my suprise I could reacitivate my facebook account whenever I feel like it without loosing any data..

When I deleted my myspace..everything went with it and I didn't have the option of creating a new one under my e-mail address or reactivivating it..

So I guess facebook is a good way to keep in touch with family and friends and my myspace is kind of like my crappy art/creative site(kinda like Deviant Art) where I connect with people I just want to talk about art and music with..

I detest most of the games and applications at both places.
FB seems to be mostly about apps and games and nonsense.

I used to hate facebook but now I prefer it because myspace takes too long to load. I just ignore the applications on there because they take up too much time. I think apart from the things on fb that take up time like these applications that can have you clicking forever, facebook can be a handy way to keep in touch....and yes its true that it is a little bit big brotherish as far as the gov. is concerned and all that.....but I don't worry about any of that; there's no point in worrying.
