Spring has sprung at Mirkwood (my house's name)

I have taken care of my lovely Bluebonnet patch for years, carefully waiting till the seed pods have fully seeded before I mow them.

My rewards are everpresent every year!

They just popped their beautiful heads out last night...more, fuller pics to follow!

We've had a few days of Spring-like weather, but it's cooler out there now, I think. Not much sunshine either.

Me too! Blue Bonnets are so beautiful! I saw them for the first time in 2005 and fell in love. I brought some back from TX but they are only annuals here.
