I am just feeling a little proud of myself; just came back from my Weight Watchers Group (yes I joined them 9 months ago), and have lost one more kilo last week, which puts me at minus 29,6 kilo now.

And that means that with a little bit of luck and effort, I may crack the 30 kilos line next week.

And when I started I didn`t even DREAM of accomplishing that in a whole year, and now I am already ahead of schedule!

It also means if *I* can do it, everyone can (if they want to).

Sandpaper kisses on a cheek or a chin
That is the way for a day to begin.
Sandpaper kisses, a cuddle and a purr

Thank you, both!

That is why I like sharing these things on LL (though I feel a little selfcentred doing it at the same time), but the responses are always so encouraging, vivid and colourful.

Well, it is still 400 gram to go for that milestone on the path, but I was feeling good about it today, and didn`t want to keep it in.

Losing weight isn't easy, so this is indeed celebratory.

Yes and no.

I think though it may be harder to maintain it for the rest of my life.

But until then I still have a way to go.

I am proud, and actually it feels like I finally took responsibility for my own life and started to PARTICIPATING actively in it, instead of hiding behind the old "I can`t do this or that, cause I am too fat".

No excuses anymore.
If I don´t live my life, who will?

That was me some years ago, with my best friend`s baby

And that was me, probably at my heaviest

[ /URL]

That is me - now

[ /URL]

(it was actually a shock to see that pic, you just inspired me asking my brother taking a pic of me )

It DOES make a difference after all, doesn`t it?

You look fantastic!! Like Diplo^ says... you're not 'wearing' the correct size for you now. It's a matter of inner-mind image. Your inner-mind will shift after you're choosing the correct clothes, just wait and see! You'll be EVEN MORE amazed at your Fine Self, Ceri!!

Let your Self-Perception catch up.

Your body will definitely Re-Set its 'weight' level. BE PATIENT! Just 'maintain' your basic level here at this plateau for a while.... (if you wish or feel like it's a good place to rest).

Need to FEEL that "this" body weight is "now" a Success! Then, in very small increments (3 to 7 at a time) continue to set new ACHIEVABLE goals. THEN, set "that" as your NEW Successful Weight, then drop a little more....

Gosh~~ After a baby?? and After all the weight you just lost, YOU deserve to PRAISE YOURSELF!

I am floored at HOW GREAT you look! And YOUR SKIN!!! is soooooo pretty!! You have Naturally Curly Hair?????? omg, I'm sooo jealous!!! What to trade hair?

Shine Girl!!!!

Upwards to new achievements... yay!!!!!

Thank you.

Yeah about th clothes. I am just so used to clothes that are rather loosely.
Actually my best friend forced me to buy a pink top, which I think serves only as undergarment (under a widish semi-transparent blouse I have), as it is still a tight fit.
She however sais that I could wear it perfectly without anything covering it, but that it probably takes time for me to get used to this thought. Or as she said: Next year by that time you will.

Thank you, Mirage!

However, that has not been my baby, but the son of my best friend. I don`t have children.

but anyway, I am losing weight slowly, which means: No Diet. But instead a restructuring of my eating behaviour, so there is not really a "break", except for the natural stagnation periods my body has to go through of course.

But yeah, I am definitely not finished. At least 30 more kilos, and even then I will still be on the more voluptious end,w hich some people will consider overweight already, but after that we will see, how my skin holds up, how I feel, how I look. If I will lose any more than these 30 more kilos, will depend, on how I like myself then. By then I will have a BMI of 30-31, which technically is still overweight.
But far better than the BMI of 40 I have now (and when I started losing weight, it was 50! - and yes I know that this was morbidly obese).

The thing that honestly amazes me is that I really thought I was far beyond any kind of "redemption" so to speak. I mean what chance could I even have to lose that much of weight as I really needed to?

But miraculous as it might be, I am on a very good way right now, and more quickly (though not hasty) than I thought it could be.
I never believed to be able to really lose 30 kilos at all (well, time has to prove that it will really sTAY gone - that will probably the bigger challenge), but I figured that even if I should only manage 10-15 kilos, it might make a bit of a difference already.

Just starting somewhere, but I haven`t really believed that kind of change was possible.

But maybe this time Pluto actualy helped with the transformation (Tr Pluto was conjunct my Venus for the last years and is still transiting my progressed ASC - Venus rules 5th, 6th and 10th house, and since 6th house among other things rules diet and eating pattern, well, it was just a good time for that I think; with Tr Uranus squaring Venus and pr ASC being the kick in the bottom I apparently needed).

Oh and yeah my hair is always doing what it wants. But I let it. Which means if there is moist weather outside, it gets really curly and untameable (though I don`t really want to tame it).

Is that black boots you were wearing?
You are an inspiration anyhow. Thank you Ceridwen you give hope to those who don't think they can lose the weight. You do look prettier and you should smile more and wear pink or purple as they suit your Sagittarius self

No, no black boots. Just the shadows on my jeans.

Interestingly that top I wrote about - it is pink.

I actually love pink, and if I am not wearing black, then it is usually pink or red lately.

And that is one of the reasons I posted this, just to show that it IS possible.

I mean I definitely considered myself a hopeless case, but now I come to think there are no hopeless cases, not if you really want it. If so, it can be done.
