Like most people refuse to believe in spirits, tarot, psychic things, astrology ect or anything outside their comfort zone. Kind of in a close-minded way too. This is the only community where i don't get ridiculed by "scientific" (lol) thinkers ! Even on my INFP group there are people who disbelieve in that stuff. Which is surprising because they're INTUITIVE INTROVERTED FEELING AND PERCEPTIVE. Where do they think their psychic feelings come from? Out of the sky?IP: Logged |

That's why I don't talk about esoteric things with my friends and family. Or anyone in real life really because I know that I'll just end up being ridiculed. I only talk about esoteric things on forums like these <3 I usually don't get mad at people who don't believe in esoterics because I always remember how I was once like them. I remember when I was 16 my best friend was talking about astrology and the psychic world and I remember ridiculing her telling her it was all BS. So when I deal with people who don't believe, I just stay patient with them & don't force my belief on them because people start awakening spiritually in their own time, and also I believe that everyone has their own life path & some people are just meant to stay spiritually asleep in this lifetime. My spiritual awakening was gradual, it did not happen overnight. IP: Logged |

Well belief is something that can't be forced upon, and then esoteric stuffs indeed lack of scientific proofs while there are many charlatans so we can't really blame people to not believe.Although one thing is being skeptic, another is to be closed minded and mock people of the beliefs they can't really comprehend. I don't care if people don't believe in astrology, but it can be annoying when some skeptic go overboard and assume that we are delluded or stupid and then tell us to provide proofs, when they don't even know the basics and throw in arguments like astrology not using the actual positions of constellations (tropical charts use season orientation duh), or Forer Effect (which only debunks newspaper sun sign asteology, which is already not acknowledged by serious astrology folks anyways). It's ironic coz they would be the ones not being critical thinkers then, for not getting facts straight and for following the society mentality that believing in any non scientifically proved thing = not cool.
