How I love this idea: http://www.trueactivist.com/biodegra dable-urns-that-will-turn-you-into-a-tree-after-you-die-lets-start-converting-cemeteries-into-forests/ quote: A revolution is upon us on Earth to move from a pollution and waste dependent society to one of sustainability and environmentally friendly initiatives. Trees are the lungs of our planet. The more trees we plant, the cleaner our air for generations to come. We are very proud to now offer our audience the Bios Urn, a funerary urn made from biodegradable materials that will turn you into a tree after you die. Inside the urn there is a pine seed, which can be replaced by any other seed or plant, and will grow to remember your loved one. Bios Urn transforms death into life through nature.
Finally, a product I'm actually interested in. I'm gonna have to look more into this.

quote: Eternal ReefsFor those who prefer to nourish a more aquatic environment after death, there's also the Eternal Reef option. Georgia-based Eternal Reefs creates artificial reef material out of a mixture of concrete and human cremains (the crushed bone left over from cremations). These heavy concrete orbs are then placed in areas where reefs need restoration, attracting fish and other organisms that turn the remains into an undersea habitat. Cremation isn't as green as natural burial due to the combustion process, Harris said, but he is a fan of Eternal Reef burials. "It's a terrific opportunity not just to return to an aquatic environment, but to produce new life under the sea," he said.

It`s fantastic!! quote: a funerary urn made from biodegradable materials that will turn you into a tree after you die. Inside the urn there is a pine seed, which can be replaced by any other seed or plant
It would replenish the trees/plants and stop the land take over by cemetaries wasting productive harvestable land. ------------------ Christian, Jew, Muslim, Shaman, Zoroastrian, stone, ground, mountain, river, each has a secret way of being with the Mystery, unique and not to be judged. While I like the aquatic afterlife disposal, the tree/plant would be my choice. Has anyone here made any type of these alternative choices? Including a simple cremation? ------------------ Christian, Jew, Muslim, Shaman, Zoroastrian, stone, ground, mountain, river, each has a secret way of being with the Mystery, unique and not to be judged.
