I saw three shooting stars and it was AMAZING!! I was with my sister and she went back outside after me to take the dog out and she saw another! One was huge. It felt so close. I just wanted to share on here with someone. I think a meteor shower is expected this week!

The Geminids Meteor Shower come out of the part of the sky where the Stars Pollux and Castor shine. This shower is at its end now, till December 16.

Then afterwards!, you'll have more 'Christmas Time' wishes to make with the yearly visit by The Ursids, which are active from December 17-26 in the Northern Hemisphere, closer to the dawn hours, and peaking on December 23. These appear coming out of the "cup" of the Little Dipper.
