I am not that good with that genre but if you haven't already checked out the show Stranger Things you should. Its a drama, fantasy, horror with a "the goonies" feel to it.

Thriller movie I felt was excellent:

Home Sweet Hell

I loooove seeing the facial expressions of the main character he is a cancer with ton of Leo placements, very expressive face.
