(Perhaps related to the
Foreshadow of the coming Solar
Eclipse).

Anyone ever heard Joshua Kadison?
🎵🎹🎵

Now playing on my old fashioned JVC.

So beautifully he always sounded to me.

The playlist of my cd currently in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gre4DZuA6k4&list=PLB0xGdhVdMlZnDIFTYYf_K52g_TfzCjvW
Enjoy!

Yes. I edited... sorry . Thought you weren't going to be responding to them because you were only setting up a general song-thread.

Went a bit nutsy~creative with some serendipitous transits to relevant asteroids. Weaved and blended topic-songs into it... (pertaining to states of melancholy, using nostalgic celebs for the 'Leo' portion of the transits and eclipses).

{{MoonMystic... Whenever people don't have time to respond, but they leave a smile or a heart after my post, I don't edit/del those.
.. Also, when people tend to automatically 'whole-quote' every single post others do, I generally back away from participating in their threads ~~ just, a kooky personal 'shy' thing about me I suppose. Feels sort of ~creepy (when it's done all the time). One of the reasons I ~AM at LL is that we have an edit-feature. I like to fix my mistakes, or add clarity to my writings.}}

So....

Thought of an eclipse-type melancholic AND nostalgic song for you early today --
.. Could hardly wait to get home, get settled, then sign back on to the computer.

I enjoyed your music picks.

Mirage,
I loved your response but was too slow
in my reply and once I tried to, it went poof. I thought my mind was lost. 😮
I hope I didn't cause you to rethink it because I adore how your mind works and know your heart was in the right place. In fact I was saying initially in my reply how I loved your mind. You are aleays so thorough and all over info,I see that as a positive trait.

This thread doesn't have to be just music. It can be other related conversation too - I'm relaxed about it.

I agree too much quoting can create problems. I apologize if I've abused that too much with you, Mirage. As well, I agree the edit feature is certainly a wonderful option we all should use when we feel we need it.

Thank you for being a wonderfully fun and wise asset to LL, because that's how I see you!

Back on topic:
The King of Pain, what a flashback! Loved it and certainly so fitting. That Elton John one you mentioned, 'Sad Songs (Say So much)' used to be a fave for me. Great one for Melancholy.
You are quick minded. I'll bet uranus and Mercury are prominent in your natal-C.

My music wasn't really about Eclipses per se, I merely 'felt' a roll back in time. Like Leo might do and the pre shadow of our eclipse, have us thinking back like our younger selves.
There's a song by Bonnie Tyler 'Total Eclipse of the Heart', that def makes me think of the coming Sol-E.

Thank you for all your responses, they are appreciated!

MoonMystic ... WOW. Thanks for saying all that. It's soooo encouraging.
You like the way I 'think'??? aww, you've got me cryin' now... {{{hug}}.
I'm soo sorry. Sometimes I feel like I'm in an isolation tube, with no feedback (like what you gave me).

Mercury. Uranus. Yeppers.
I'll have to find the post and leave you a link to another place I sorta delineated that.

Thanks over and over again!

Mirage,
I'm glad you weren't weirded out. I just wanted you to know you're appreciated.

I'm sure others find you as a light
here, sharing knowledge. It's
just some of us have less powerful Mercury+Uranus, communication may be more quiet. My Mercury is in H2. I'm generally
more in my head but I feel more expressive lately.
((Hugs))

Nice timing on that *bump* Randall....
I needed to read that note of appreciation again.
I LOVE that Sheena Easton song sooooo much. Sometimes I wish I could just tweak some of the pronouns.... switch 'he' to WE... BECAUSE.... WE .... BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL "WE" .. are SOOOOOO Incredibly Wonderful and BRIGHT....

MY GOD... I can SEE BEAUTY in everyone, and every single moment and circumstance....

I'm not feeling well recently.
Been in a LOT of PHYSICAL pain,
which reflects IN, to the psyche-pain I feel too, with what is COLLECTIVELY happening in the world.

My Melancholy... is not just for my stupid pain in my dumb body (yeah, I'm mad at ME??? and, really, my body can't help feeling so electrified-raw-stripped-broken over the SONIC PELTINGs I've ENDURED now for YEARS).

My Melancholy ... is also a BEAUTIFUL inter-relating. I SEE other's pain, and it MOVES me. And I WANT to help them, soooo much. Sooo much.

I WISH I were A Great Healer--- I WISH I could just hug-heal the WORLD with ONE SINGLE STRONG VIRTUAL-ETHERIC EMBRACING....

Then, I go back to reality? haha... and, I can't even HELP MY SELF.... I could probably engage in convo with the critical-voice that mocks me in all that.... But today-- I'll tell it-- You're not WORTH my time!! MY Time is VALUABLE.

And today, I am energized and frustrated and I feel POWER surges... Soo bothered, yet, so WANTING to GRAB something REAL, and say I'M HERE.... I'M HERE..... I CARE what you go through. I CARE... ... and I hug greatly from the tiny place in my Heart.

(music) If I Could (Barbra Streisand, lyrics) [4:22] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMlnn2COHRo

EXTRA thoughts today..... for the Charlotteville type issues in my country....
It's been "time" that is OVER-RIPE for that Conversation.

IT has affected MY Journey, MY soul.. my whole life long.

And I feel all balled-up in a gnarly undissolved swirl of like little Styrofoam balls trying to mix INTO the waters.....
Oh watta funny ME....

I LOVE THE WORLD....

I WAnt to see her get along. !!!

Rainbow on Rainbow on Rainbow on Rainbow...BEAUTIFUL ARCHES.

We Are Bridges.
We Are Light....

Growing Miracles...

(music) We Are Lights--A Song for Chanukah [3:14] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghS9j6J7Nps

I'm sorry I've been bad at keeping up with
replies Mirage. I'd do better now but need to
return as soon as I can to better reply. Been feeling a bit sad. Just passed (9/11) a 6 month anniversary of a lost love and it's not easy to think clearly.

{{{hug }}} Wow, I'm so sorry you suffered a loss of a person last March??

The process of grief and mourning can feel outside of our own control-- especially if you tend towards 'stuffing', or you are one who automatically just did-connects.

I hope you have real-people support in your life?
Do you have a pet?
Sometimes a pet can be 'presence'...

_________
ADD-- Just recalling?.. You had a kitty that died? You had a thread in Heathcliff's Corner? ...
Have you found a new animal for yourself, to fill your life?
I had a cat... She was my furry Beautiful soulmate. Would find me and curl in my lap whenever I'd meditate.
She's put her butt RIGHT ON specific paragraph in textbook I'd study. LOL.
Would chase crumpled paperballs across the room when I'd tear them out of my (manual) typewriter roller.
I still miss her, even though it was back in the 1970s.
________

It's okay about replies, Moon Mystic. You ARE doing the best you can. (me too).
