I was surprised, I thought I would get hippy, but no, I guess I have matured  I got: quote:

We need one more hippy to make up the dream team @Chanterelle, no, I didn't know that! So kinda like us being right/left-handed, or right/left-wing political  @HeavenlyLove, yes, the kids of these times were the reformers, all of them, they just went about it in different ways, but their goal was the same - to do better than the previous generation. To make the world fairer and more inclusive. It makes me nostalgic. I would have really sunk my teeth into the sixties and seventies. But these movements are not dead! In fact, they appear to be amalgamating. My 17 year old son is part of a group of friends who identify with principles that cross all three movements. They are consolidating and uniting their parents generation. Which is pretty cool, and very Age of Aquarius  ------------------

Actually, what we need is one more category. Then it would be just like high school, when one of my friends would host annual tea & croquet parties: goth vs. punk and hippie vs. preppie for the first round, with a dress-up box in case we needed to even out the teams.IP: Logged |
