Ami, I didn't like Kommander Korruption but I have to agree with him in this case. O'Bomber is an amateur.

It is weird that it is all coming out now, Jwhop. I really think that a Higher Authority has had it up the whazoo with O'Bomber, as all of a sudden O'Bomber is in free fall. For Clinton to punch O'Bomber like this means something BIG.

Before, O'Bomber was teflon. I hope to God, it stays like this until the election. What troubles me is that Astrologers seem to think O'Bomber will get elected, from the charts. I hope these Astrologers are wrong.

As of now, O'Bomber is in a free fall, which gets worse by the day. The Clinton thing was BIG. Clinton is the respected elder of the Dem party, to many people.

still talking about the thirdhand hearsay cocktail party gossip, i see. so clinton would like to be back in the white house..even if the report is true, what does that prove? all of a sudden clinton's every motive is pure and patriotic? time heals all memories i guess.

hillary will NOT be president. that was decided years ago now. she knows too much for a start, and she isn't afraid to use it. but why would she want to be crucified again when sec of state is a bloody good entry on her resume?

Clinton did come out against the Bain capital attack, but then he turned around to promote Obama's jobs bill.

Well, from what I hear from my connections Clinton never forgave O'Bomber for insinuating that Clinton was a racist. I do understand how Clinton would feel that way, as it was a low blow. Clinton is not. Heck, at this point, having either Clinton in the White House would be Nirvana compared to O'Bomber.

You know what, Jwhop and AG
I think there is a larger thing going on than just Clinton throwing O'Bomber under the bus. There is so much coming out, now. Today, I heard that he was a member of a socialistic group in Chicago. He said he was not, but the group had MINUTES showing O'Bomber asking to join.

His campaign denied this, vehemently i.e lied. I think someone(s) higher than Clinton sees O'Bomber as too much of a liability for even them.
I think he is being thrown under the bus on a wide scale. Bill Clinton is just the tip of the iceberg. Bill Clinton never does things in an off hand way, not politcally anyway

I don't know why Obama would insinuate Clinton was a racist when Clinton's considered the first "black" President. I agree with you that Clinton is calculating, and there may be some sour grapes, but I think it would be a mistake to make too much of it.

O'Bomber did this to Clinton when Hilary ad O'Bomber were running mates. O'Bomber sunk super low. You don't mess with Bill Clinton(or anyone ) on that score, as it is a VERY low blow. O'Bombers chickens are coming home to roost

Yeah, Kommander Korruption is...either derailing O'Bomber or...trying to move O'Bomber to the center.

Here, Clinton gives O'Bomber 3 biatch slaps in a very public way.

First, Clinton says now is not the time to raise taxes...in your face O'Bomber...who wants to raise taxes on those making more than 250K.

Then, Clinton talks about the "dead flat economy". This, after O'Bomber has been touting all those jobs he's "created" and the "improving" economy.

And then, Clinton talked down "boosting spending" which O'Bomber has tried to do over and over in the face of Republican opposition.

So, is Clinton trying to derail O'Bomber to get him out of the White House; thinking O'Bomber is the worst thing that's happened to demoscats since Woodrow Wilson?

Or, is Clinton trying to snap O'Bomber out of his Socialist haze long enough to move him towards the center to help him get reelected?

I will tell you this. Clinton owes his reelection in 1996 to Dick Morris who told him bluntly. You either move to the center and start cooperating with Republicans...balancing budgets, cutting welfare, cutting government...or you're gone!

Former President Bill Clinton says now is not the time to hike taxes.

“I personally don’t believe we ought to be raising taxes or cutting spending, either one, until we get this economy off the ground,” Clinton told Newsmax in an interview Tuesday. “This has been a dead flat economy.”

Clinton, who is hosting the Clinton Global Initiative’s annual meeting in New York City this week, said that until the country’s debt is reduced, he doesn’t believe cutting or raising taxes or boosting spending are the solution to bringing the country to a full employment economy.

I love how you selectively quote articles cherry-picking just the parts that support what you want to believe.

Earlier this week, Clinton suggested that Republicans should stop arguing against Obama’s proposal to raise taxes on the rich.

“The Republicans in Washington always say the same thing,” Clinton said, accusing the GOP of being locked into opposing the end of the Bush-era tax cuts.

“It’s an insult to those people [the wealthy],” Clinton added. “They don’t mind being asked to pay their fair share.”

So he said two contradictory things, and interestingly said taxes shouldn't be raised to NewsMax whose audience wouldn't want taxes raised.

clinton is quoted in your post, jwhop, as saying that neither cutting spending or raising taxes is good right now. then the writer goes on to say BOOSTING SPENDING, as if he couldn't read, or what?

i have seen no evidence of clinton throwing obama under the bus, though ami seems to think if she keeps saying so it will be taken as fact. some examples might be helpful! that is if ami doesn't think i am too DIFFERENT from her to be able to read such examples.

so, can we have facts and not just gossip from conservative pundits who suddenly seem to think clinton was the bees knees though they hated him two days ago,

the only quotes i have seen, which have been INTERPRETED to sound ANTI-obama, were nothing of the sort when read direct from the horse's mouth. so someone, please show me where, apart from a tabloid gossip author who SAYS someone who was there SAID that clinton said something, clinton actually said something ?

do you really think he is out on the campaign trail with the man trying to undercut him? or maybe some wishful thinkers are taking his words out of context (and leaving some of them out altogether) to make it seem like EVEN CLINTON, a fellow democrat, hates the devil-who-is-president?

just for a minute put yourself in someone else's shoes. imagine being half-white, raised white, but because you have brown skin you are perceived and treated black. this kind of racism is hard for white people to understand, but they do it all the time...and many mixed race people experience it, it even has a name...unconscious racism.

i don't personally know bill clinton, so can't say if he is racist or not. do you know him?

Listen acoustic, Kommander Korruption said what I showed he said. He wasn't misquoted. He put O'Bomber's tax increases in his gunsights, his talk about the improving economy in the dumpster and his talk about increasing spending as no solution to creating jobs.

Pull your head out acoustic. Kommander Korruption is a demoscat. He's giving O'Bomber sound advice. O'Bomber is just a Marxist who's too stupid to take it. Clinton isn't the only demoscat who's telling O'Bomber the same things. But how do you tell a truly stupid Socialist who doesn't understand a thing about how the American economy works anything he would understand!

No, you listen, Jwhop.

He ALSO said the rest of the things mentioned in that article. You WERE being selective in what you were posting, just as you ARE CURRENTLY being selective in endorsing Clinton's view. You're engaging in shenanigans.

In conflict with the Obama White House, Clinton said this week that broad tax cuts that expire in January should be temporarily renewed, including for the wealthiest Americans, to give lawmakers time to reach a deal on a longer-term extension that should exclude the rich. House Republicans pounced on the election-year gift on Wednesday, highlighting the former president's comments and urging Obama to follow his advice.

Everything Clinton does is with calculation. This is no different. He has to be a little subtle about it, AG. I mean he can't come right out and say that he thinks O'Bomber is a clueless tool. That is what he is saying between the lines, AG.

Wake up and get your second cup of coffee

Don't get bold there. We do agree that Clinton is calculating, but that does not mean that we can make up wild fantasies about what he might think of Obama.

Actually, today my sources had a good theory about this.

Clinton can't see the country go into the toilet. He has had enough of O'Bomber and this is why he is openly dissing him.

This feels right to me.

This rivalry goes way back. Don't forget, Mrs. Clinton is actually the one who started the birther controversy. Bad blood between the Clintons and Obamas.

you have SOURCES, ami? i cannot wait to see/hear who they are and what they ACTUALLY said.

i have seen nothing clinton said that was particularly aimed at obama's policies or implying they were wrong.

in jwhop's post he says NEITHER cutting spending or raising taxes is great right now. an interim extension was all he talked about. the commentator, however seems to think he said BOOSTING spending would be wrong. a pure example of someone reading INTO a quote what is not there.

so, ami, if you have any credible sources i would LOVE to see them!

No acoustic, you listen. Clinton was quoted accurately. He said what I posted. What I said he said and if he later said something else or phrased it differently, it just doesn't matter.

You don't talk about a "dead flat economy" in the face of O'Bomber's touting an "improving economy" without having some purpose in mind.

And, you don't talk about not raising anyone's taxes now without having some purpose in mind.

Clinton knows every word he says will be picked up and quoted. Whether he's trying to move O'Bomber to the center or bury the hatchet in O'Bomber's back is unclear but Clinton is a politician with a purpose when he speaks publicly.
