Senator Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) decided to send a politely worded letter to the Russian Ambassador in Washington D.C. begging . . . er, asking that the Russians return NSA whistleblower (or traitor, depending on your viewpoint) to America. He proudly noted this action on Facebook. He couldn’t have been prepared for the storm of insults that rained down upon him from angry conservatives, who feel that Snowden performed an important service to America.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. This is one of the comments. I just went and put mine. I called him a disgrace who needs to go home and stop destroying our country God bless Russia. What madman would have thought 60 years ago that Russia would be the great defender of freedom and America the great tyrant.

Conservatives lauding Russia all of a sudden...wow, talk about taking whatever position (no matter how extreme) as long as it's convenient to the cause.Reminds me of this email I received from a Conservative friend: Putin’s Speech on Feb 04, 2013 This is one time our elected leaders should pay attention to the advice of Vladimir Putin....how scary is that? On February 4th, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia: "In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law. Russia does not need minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. We better learn from the suicides of America, England, Holland and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways of most minorities. When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the national interest first, observing that the minorities are not Russians. The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a five minute standing ovation. IP: Logged |
