We've seen this lie here...Trump called Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists very fine people.Joe 'Plugs' O'Biden started his presidential campaign with the very same lie. Many in Charlottesville were local citizens, without "Nazi" ties, and simply protesting the statue removal. Clearly these were the "fine people." They didnt get much press though. Let's remember two things:
1)Trump has supported the Jewish community, foreign and domestic, at every opportunity.
2) most of his immediate family is Jewish Of all the derogatory things which could be said of him, anti semite is ridiculously off the mark. IP: Logged |

There were very fine people on both sides. Both for and against removal of the statue. The Nazis and ANTIFA were not included in that assessment.IP: Logged |

Local news mainly. A few independent journalists. There were many recorded interviews of local protesters available, but for some crazy reason which eludes me the national press chose not to air them or, god forbid, interview those locals themselves. huh.
