From the LA Times:

Hours before actor Alec Baldwin fatally shot a cinematographer on the New Mexico set of “Rust” with a prop gun, a half-dozen camera crew workers walked off the set to protest working conditions.

It was an accident.
http://www.cnn.com/2021/10/23/entertainment/alec-baldwin-rust-shooting-saturday/inde x.html

I’ve seen people who don’t like him, saying he’ll probably be over it in a day or two. Hardly. He accidentally took someone’s life. This isn’t like that teenage boy deliberately murdering protesters, and having trump supporters donate towards his bail money and lawyer fees.

I’ve been reading about this for weeks, people have been talking about it, and a friend (former LL member), is a crew member on TV shows and movies. She mentioned that they might be striking.

"I wonder how it must feel to wrongfully kill someone..."
--Baldwin, Sept., 2017, referring to a cop who shot and killed a violently resisting suspect.

This icon of liberalism and progressivism couldn't even have decent working conditions for the people working on the movie he is producing. That is why they were walking off the set.

I have no sympathy for him.

I am saving my sympathy for his victims and their families.

It was a preventable accident. But hubris.

Kyle killed a pedo rioter in self defense.

Curious how often you jump to defend pedos, teasel.

It wasn't his fault, but of course you are going political. Of course you are.

I’ll take involuntary manslaughter for $1,000, Alex. Prison is nice this time of year. Should be significant civil liability, as well.

So he is supporting the IATSE strike, but people walked off the movie HE WAS PRODUCING in protest of the working conditions there, and that is a separate matter. And there were NON-UNION employees on the set waiting to replace them.

Sounds to me like he is someone who pays lip services to causes.

I can admit I don't like him, and I can admit it wasn't his fault. I don't think he set out to kill someone. But it could be said that it was a case of negligence.

From what I understand, he was the producer or one of the producers of the movie. The buck stops with him.

According to the IndiWire, an industry paper:

IATSE Local 44, which covers prop masters, sent an email to its members early Friday morning that said the gun used in the scene contained “a live single round” and the production’s propmaster was not a member of Local 44.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/mo vies/news/prop-gun-fired-by-alec-baldwin-contained-a-e2-80-98live-single-round-e2-80-99-says-iatse-local-44/ar-AAPOuhF

Again for someone who claims he supports IATSE and unions, he has no problem having non-union workers on the set of the movie he is producing.

That seems like the height of hypocrisy to me, but I am open to changing my mind if the facts prove me wrong and more info comes in on this unfortunate incident.

Such gross acts by film actors. Hope , it was really an accident. Its not an accident if he was on drugs.
Also, Imagine the dark side of beautiful media persons. It is getting tough for the negatives to hide their evil as we get closer to aqua age. Hope they either are jailed or die leaving the earth so that the new reality comes closer to all of us.

You don’t accidentally load a live round in a “prop gun.” This was murder. Perhaps not by Baldwin, but he is still culpable even without intent.

According to The Times who has the email correspondence to prove, apparently in the days before the incident, workers had complained about unsafe conditions and that same gun misfiring...

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/rust-assistant-director-had-history-unsafe-practices-prop-maker-says-n1282226

Some excerpts:

LOS ANGELES — The assistant director on the set of "Rust" where Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins had previously allowed an unsafe working environment on productions, according to a prop maker who worked with him.

Dave Halls "at first he seemed like an older, affable first [assistant director] with the usual run of idiosyncrasies, but that facade soon disappeared," according to prop maker Maggie Goll, who said she was called to work on Hulu's "Into the Dark" anthology series in February 2019.

"He did not maintain a safe working environment," Goll said in a detailed statement to NBC News. "Sets were almost always allowed to become increasingly claustrophobic, no established fire lanes, exits blocked ... safety meetings were nonexistent."

According to court records, Halls handed the prop gun to Baldwin before the fatal shooting at the Bonanza Ranch in New Mexico, indicating incorrectly that the weapon didn't carry live rounds by yelling "cold gun."

The assistant director apparently has a bad history of not being careful, and I also read, thanks to TMZ, that some of the crew were using it for target practice. That fake bullets were being stored alongside real ones.

This is not Alec Baldwin's fault.

It may not be his fault, but you just proved that the unfortunate incident was not an isolated incident but was part of a pattern of dangerous things that were happening on the set.

In a court of law, guess who is going to be sued and fined for negligence and shenanigans in the workplace? the BOSS, aka the producers, and Baldwin is the producer or one of the producers, and part of his/their job is to make sure the workplace is a safe environment.

First of all, it was a real bullet (or a live round), as we already know. Second, let's quit calling it a prop gun. A live round will not fit into a prop gun. It was a real gun. Third, actors never aim prop guns at anyone, but Alec certainly did so.

Dig deeper into this, dont fall for media hype.

Halyna was most likely a Ukrainian Spy in earlier days, and she admitted growing up in a Soviet Naval Base in Murmansk. Alec Baldwin's biggest movie success was "Hunt for Red October", again dealing with Soviet Nuke Sub around Murmansk.

This "Ritual Murder" happened in October.

Halyna's husband works for one of the Clinton's legal teams.

Baldwin was used for a ritual murder of someone about to spill some more beans on the Clintons.

Another scary "coincidence", David Halls, who was present as junior assistant director during Brandon Lee's death in a gun accident, was assistant director on this set. 28 years later, same accident!
Halls gave the prop gun to Baldwin.

This character could be a Hollyweird Pedophile Satanist in charge of background rituals and murders.

Sheriff Adan Mendoza stated that this should not be called an accident, because it is a criminal investigation.

I was gonna say ..

yes, how ironic how scripts seem to mimic reality, never perfectly though. As to have the many argue the matters in their faces.
