This is NOT okay.  They’ve put blades on those buoys, and barbed wire. They don’t care about these human beings. I know the cruelty is the point. Anyone who agrees with these being used, isn’t pro-life. Abbott is a ******* monster. IP: Logged |

Good morning, teasel! Deaths while crossing the Rio Grande have been happening forever. You would do yourself a favor and research. A 15 second search on Google netted the following: The Guardian article dated September 2022 https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/sep/05/mi grants-risk-death-crossing-treacherous-rio-grande-river-for-american-dream Mello estimates about 30 bodies have been taken from the river each month since March. What I am trying to say is, way before they put those things that you hate, PEOPLE DIED ALL THE TIME TRYING TO CROSS THE RIO GRANDE, and the more people try to cross that river, the more deaths there will be. People should not be trying to cross the Rio Grande, they know of the fatalities. The irony is that these people are 100% of the time people of color still feel a life in America, the so called land of white supremacy according to you, is worth the risk. Do you get the irony? teasel, You know what's not okay? Your faux outrage. Out there in rural Ohio, you have no skin in the game, but you get to feel virtuous about a problem that is (for now) far, far away from you. Do you even understand or grasp what these border states have been going through? Even NYC who called itself a sanctuary state is now changing its tune because the problem has been brought to its doorsteps! Look, how about opening YOUR home to some migrants? Are you willing to do that, teasel, if you GENUINELY feel sorry for them? Then we will respect your outrage.
