Being an entrepreneur, I pretty much have to be. But I take risks that are at least planned out and well-calculated, for the most part. With great risks, come great rewards. "One's comfort zone is the den of mediocrity." I just now made that up. Sounds cool. ------------------ "Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." "Are you a risk taker?"For the sake of simplicity, Yes, Very much so. I normally think before I act, It is where the ideas for my actions come from anyway, so it is simpler for me to just start there. IP: Logged |

Yes I would say I am a risk-taker, I think that's whats got me into so much trouble throughout my life. I am always seeking out to know the 'unknown'...I feel like I need to take on challenges, both with career and traveling.IP: Logged |

ARIES MARS critical at 0 degrees in the 8th...'nuff said Risky is my middle name (well no, I don't have a middle-name) ------------------ नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः। न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुतः।। Weapons cannot pierce you, Fire cannot burn you, Air cannot evaporate you nor Water drown you because you are soul, not body. ♥ IP: Logged |

I'm a born risk-taker. I rolled a car twice over and through a telegraph pole - before i even had a driving license! I lost over £20,000 gambling when i only earned £18000 a year as a salary. I'm not trying to be competitive i just genuinely believe some people that say they are risk takers are not even in the same league as me. I currently rent a nice place, and yet don't work, and don't even sign on for benefits i'm entitled to - because i am invested in the stockmarket and know it will work out good. I live by faith. Sometimes i have down days so someone might say how's that living by faith? My down days are caused by large alcohol consumption not a lack of faith. Faith is the only reason i'm alive. Risk taking is in my blood. I was the first ever person to be banned from the golf club. I was 13 and the ban was for illegal gambling with another junior. I couldn't play pool or a round of golf without there being money on it, or at least some forfeit. I took £100 (a weeks wages for an ADULT back then) off another junior even just flicking coins against the locker (playing closest to the locker)! I also started the craze called 'strip chip'. Basically you compete to chip or pitch closest to the pin and furthest away loses an item of clothing. That was pretty funny when the green keeper came down to the first green to find 3 juniors one of whom was in his underwear rofl and it was still daylight. If you know about golf club dress codes you'll know that it ain't the best place to be seen in your underwear. I meet alot of people that talk the talk. But few would have big enough feet for my shoes. And that my dear friends is just a fact. 4 planets in Sagittarius, Moon in Leo, and Mars, Mercury, and Uranus in the 5th in Scorpio. You do the maths. Nope, I don't invest in stocks. I wouldn't mind taking a company public one day, though. I think there's a difference between taking a risk and breaking the law. I tend to err on the side of the law. ------------------ "Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." Harriet Van Horne IP: Logged |
