Okay so I went on my little monthly spree, and desided to shop at American Eagle. I was really needing some new spring stuff. (probably cause I didn't have much $ last year since I was living w/ an ex & didn't know what I was doing)
And I was crazy and gaga over too much stuff in that store. I saw the navy blue shirt I was looking at online. And I probably made a scene like. "This is the shirt I was looking at online" to my friend. So then a nice teen or young adult working there swooped in asking me if I needed any help, finding my size and asking my size and stuff. I told her "I'm a large I think(correct)... I found it I just have to dig under." (cause ya know, they place the smaller sizes on top. Makes sence.) And the helpful lady teen or young adult gave me a heads up that it's low in the shoulders. So I said "thats what strapless bras are for" And then she cheerfully says "or navy blue bra straps!" And I'm thinking really????!
I mean yeah this is America and people can wear what they want for the most part... I mean true, bra straps are not a big deal. Call me old fashioned but what about leaving that to the imagination and not for everyone to see? Or only places like the girls locker room. And/or only for your "Roni" as Bobby Brown describes it. haha! So Lindalanders...how do you feel about wearing outfits showing off your bra straps? Or other people doing so?

I don't show mine unless I am at home in a tank top. I don't care what anyone else does- whatever floats their boat.There is NO WAY I could wear no straps I'd do those see through ones or something lol. IP: Logged |

Recently while i was doing some window shopping here in india when my friend pointed out to me a pair of bikini which was completely transperant like glass! no colour too!
And she was younger to me and was like what is the use of that? instead we can go without that!lolol
I couldnt give an answer to myself.

I got a bra a couple years ago that has clear straps, that way you can wear it with tank tops and spaghetti straps. It's awesome. Try one.  IP: Logged |

Or yea I like nude bra straps too. For me personally though, if I have like a blue shirt on and I have pink bra staps sticking out it would probably bug me, unless I'm not going anywhere. I prefer to have bra straps not showing, be clear or nude. I just feel more put together that way. But I don't really care what other people do with their bra straps. lolIP: Logged |

My daughters (20 and 12 yrs) will match their bra straps with their jewelry, and contrast to their tank top. So, if they have a purple tank top, they will wear a neon green bra, with a neon green necklace or bracelets. Just a little slice of life from my neck of the woods. IP: Logged |

wow, i've never paid attention to such a thing as bra strap... i don't think anyone in this city cares either. to begin with i was a no-bra person for years (yay b-cup). now i have like 3 bras.seriously, if my strap was showing (and i'm sure they do, especially in the summer), i don't think anyone takes a notice. i'm glad it's that way, how annoying would that be to check your general shoulder area all the time!
