I was just thinking of one lesson a wise person showed me. I used to be sooo trusting. If someone treated me badly, I would try to make amends. I would try to breech the gap. I learned that some people simply are not worth the effort. They will kick you again and again, so you need to walk away. You don't have to be mean, just cool headed and calm.------------------

It's going great! Moving countries again today. I don't want to go into too many specifics, but we've rented a villa along the mediterranean, and will be enjoying good food, company and sunshine before skipping to another country along the mediterranean and doing the exact same thing. I am slowly learning to take care of self, but the lesson is still coming slow.I am more prone to protecting someone else than myself, but I have gotten to that point many times this year where I can't afford to NOT look after me. I used to tell myself I don't bruise easily as ways to justify that I should not be afraid of the one that kills the body, but the soul. I didn't realize my soul was being battered and bruised from all types of abuse from those who were close to me as well as strangers who had no respect for themselves either. I am still trusting. I just have to learn how to become the same fierce me I become when I see someone else being wronged or hurt. I have problems believing on a soul deep level that I deserve to be treated and viewed as an equal and not a stepping stone towards an agenda. IP: Logged |

Taurus Moon is a sweet Moon. You really don't want to ever be mean or harsh. I am the same with a Cancer Moon but I am trying to learn to be FIRM, which is different lol------------------
