I feel restless and like I could be doing something fun but I don't know what or with whom.

I've always been a loner but lately I just feel like I crave connection and yet I don't know how to go about it, it feels weird and unnatural; and I'm really picky (though I don't want to be).

Virtual conversation doesn't cut it anymore, I feel like I want to have a real person with me to do stuff with, actually a group of people I could goof around with and just have a good time.

But there's still internal resistance in me, some sort of inhibition/distance that makes it hard to just go out and make new friends and truly enjoy other people's presence. It's all so confusing.

Ugh I am so frustrated & confused, it's so unusual for me. And I experience random ups and downs in enegry, one moment I feel like partying and the next I just want to take a nap...

It's that progressed Gemini Moon on my ASC... So at odds with my natal Virgo Moon! fgkhgghdkghdkgjh

When I feel frustrated with my current relationships I find it usually originates within myself. It's like I get sick of myself sometimes, and it makes me feel like people don't really care about me and that my friends are really quite **** . I'm the one with the problem though, I have sky-high expectations.

Fortunately for me these moods never last long. I have great friends who skillfully ignore my BS, call me on it, or simply drag me out the door. I'm way too complacent in friendships, but I never say "no" to anything. I always drop what I'm doing if someone calls, so the extraverted, active people love doing just that. I find this is mutually beneficial as they are really quite stimulating and distract me from general moodiness.

It entered Gemini some time in March, I think. But I've only started feeling this way recently, I'm sure it's because of the conjunction to my natal ASC at 3° Gemini. That happened like two weeks ago.

Could be something in the air right now as well, the upcoming Full Moon in Gem/Sag (my 1st/7th houses); or the fact that the tSun is in my 1st house now (more energy overall, the need for connections/contact?)

It's difficult when you feel lonely and feel alone as well, but I've usually found that reminding myself that I'm my own best friend worked best.

That's exactly what I do, too. I just go out by myself and do stuff all alone (it doesn't bother me). But sometimes I feel like it's not quite enough.

Thanks for sharing, DF. Actually I think it might have something to do with the fact that I'm now on holidays and have plenty of free time (well, I need to find a job); but still, I'm used to being a hermit and now it's like I just want to go out and connect with people on a light level.

Thanks for the advice. I don't really have close friends IRL (that I'm completely comfortable with), but I think I have an idea as to what I could do.
