Has anyone ever heard a song while with someone that made you think of the relationship, and even after breaking up, you still listen to it, but for some odd reason, a long time later you just can't bear to hear it anymore?------------------

Yes, or pretty close anyway. Someone dedicated The Power of Two to me on a radio program and it became my favorite love song. And then it went bad and it's extremely difficult to hear it at all anymore and I even got rid of the CD that had the song (at least it was, I haven't bothered trying after awhile, but I don't feel like testing myself now as I don't see a point to it). I see. I myself haven't gotten rid of the song. Any other time I would have, but I guess it's my hope of 'someday' that's making me hold on to it.------------------

I cant listen to anything by Coldplay anymore lol...But especially their song "White Shadows", which was often tenderly sung to me while in bed  ------------------

I can't listen to M83 Midnight City anymore or Paradise by Coldplay or The Intro XX. I used to play these songs all day everyday. Now I just can't since they remind me of someone I don't want to remember and a period of my life I'm trying to forget. IP: Logged |
