activating the url, by removed the 's' from http. (Edit-- well, I guess that didn't work, sorry about that? I'll try something different, if it works, then good. LOL) SV.... quote "We're allowed to be happy and live our lives how we want, too." Actually?, being Happy does speed the healing process! It fortifies the immune system, supports emotional healing, and 'juvinates the aura... breaks up blockages. Allows to think with a more Possibility-Forward orientation about the Future. You Are Born as A Promise, and with Gifts to Bring to this World!! Be Encouraged... And speedy Healing to you, however you need that. All categories of your life-- May you Become Whole. Chronically ill or not I don't think anyone should have to apologize for being able to enjoy themselves. In my case you can't even see my chronic illness, but I have a crippling depression and frequent fatigue issues. Why are some people obsessed with the thought that being chronically ill means you have to be miserable 24/7? It's obnoxious to believe anyone should be suffering 24/7 just because of something they have that they cannot control. IP: Logged |

Amen!!! Unrelated on spoonieness: the bint who manages the flat I rent had the nerve to tell me she let essential repairs unattended for 2 whole years because my emails are too long and she gets lost in what there is to do (it's called a phone ***** or the reply button and you ask, I'm not your mum). I told her things I write are long because of brain fog and ensuing difficulties to sum up and then asked her if she was also the kind of person who made fun of people in wheelchairs or if she only made fun of people whose illness you can't see (I was cross). She found the phone and yelled at me. I hung up on her. People are arseholes, really. They'll judge and attack and do aything to anyone just to avoid questioning themselves or accept that they made a mistake. Sometimes they mouth trash people who have less and smile just because they perceive them as stronger and it irritates the dominator in them. Shallow everyday abusers... Happened here too, someone made fun of the fact I warn that sometimes I can't read and just "scan" posts because of either brain fog or fatigue, head aches sometimes... and I essentially told them congrats you made fun of my illness! You'd think they'd say sorry so we can move on, but nope, they went on to marvel at how you never know who you talk to and when I mentioned the incident to someone else further away in the thread, they said I was playing victim! lol I swear, we all deserve some fun in this pathetic world, anyone who judges that can shove it. People who expect you to be miserable usually are the miserable ones. Avoid at all cost, toxic as hell. Like that toxic coworker of mine. She kept feeding me stories about cowrokers and I kept telling her "NOT INTERESTED", when she realised I wasn't going to gossip along with her and I'd stay positive and enjoy my job outside of office politics, she made up rumours about me that ended up playing a part in me losing my job. She's everything I don't want to become, ever. She's bitter and sad and always negative and she either rains on people's parade or disses them if she can't. She would so judge a spoonie for having fun saying "look she's smiling and all but she needs a tailored schedule" or something like that. These people are so self-centered they will never realise most chornic illnesses happen behind closed doors, it's not when we're at work, being social and adapting, tiring ourselves that we show, it's home, when we wake up at four to be sick for the 3rd time that night, when we spend half the holidays in bed, unable to stand up... it's the children we don't have, the friends we lost.... and with all that, sure we need judgement because we find the innocence to smile once in a while? Sod off. Oops, ranted xx IP: Logged |
