Do you think it means something? Lol.
I didn't knew about this until last year. I named my dog Martina but I didn't like that name before, I just looked at her and I told her “You are Martina!!“. I'm not sure why?
But it caught my attention that my dog has Sun conjunct Martina .
It probably means nothing but I think is kinda fun.

This is my dog's natal chart lol. I know the time of birth because I was there.

My daughter's favourite movie is 'Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind' from Studio Ghibli... Nausicaa is this super strong character who defends these huge bugs from chemical warfare and protects her people. (She's awesome).

Asteroid Nausicaa is conjunct my daughter's Moon

Cool! That seems like something I would do...Nausicaa is 7 degrees from my ASC.

I always had a fascination for mythical worlds. I have Atlantis on ASC and Camelot on MC. Also, Ireland on DESC . I'm also into conspiracies and stuff and am always trying to get people to understand. Kassandra (in mythology she was a prophetess that no one listened to but she was right) is conjunct my Karma XD.

See, that's why I love asteroids. I always check out name asteroids correspondence and what they are doing in a chart, whether in natal, synastry and composite, it tells a story.

That's amazing...

After I read the title of your thread, I checked the one for my oldest son that makes the most sense (is not named after a person with a last name, but a symbol of sorts), and it's conjunct his natal Sun, lol.

Now I have to go around and check everyone else's, hahaha.
Of course there's no common spelling for my real first name, so I doubt I'll have any luck with that. -__-

........
Interesting. My youngest son's closest name asteroid (how I considered spelling it, and again with no last name attached) is conjunct his Vertex.

Additional weird note: In my chart, my oldest son's name asteroid is conjunct my Mars, and vice versa (the closest spelling of my name, and probably the closest to original meaning).

My name asteroid is only conjunct my Juno/Chiron conjunction in my natal. But that's kind of interesting, too.

Thanks for bringing up the name asteroids, Mila!

I should add that my son and I have names that have different symbolic representations. His stems from the Bible, but is also symbolic of other things, so I chose the symbolic asteroid as opposed to the ones that were named after famous people.

My name is of ancient origins, and has a meaning (my name happened "by accident", as my parents were not consciously aware of the meaning, but "made it up" before it became popularized in Western cultures), so it can be difficult to find one asteroid that has a close spelling. I believe I found it, though.

What a cool and interesting thing to look at! We don't have any pets, so I can't look up their charts, lol.

It IS amazing.

I have a story, too. Well, several, but I'll just tell one.

My oldest son is named after a famous author, they have the same first name. We had this name picked out from early in my pregnancy.

He was born more than 2 weeks early, so his sun is conjunct the author's (birthdays two days apart). Not only that, the asteroid named after the author (long Russian last name) was transiting conjunct my son's sun, less than 2° orb.

Not in relation to his name (I don't know his time of birth or exact location) but we do have Venus-Chiron conjunction, which is a magical linkage hehehe...

@mila that's so freaking cool! I love animals and their astrology!!! Their sentience is as legit as ours

I once stared into a dogs eyes and what immediately came to mind was, "Ruben.. you have a [bleeping] Moon in Scorpio." I turned to his dad and asked if he happened to have his birthdate from adoption papers. He did, and sure enough, this six year old catahoula leopard dog had a Moon in Scorpio, conjunct his Dad's mercury/pluto (he talks ALOT--shares a lot of secrets lol--to his dog, you wouldn't even believe it). The dog's Aries Sun is conjunct his Dad's Moon, NN conjunct NN, and so on and so forth. Soulmates galore, especially considering the story of how they came to be.

My mum had good instincts too, or else insane coincidence. My name asteroid is conjunct my Moon.

In my dog's chart his name and may name asteroid are conjunct and parallel.
