Quirk in Taurus in 7th house.Strand in Virgo in 10th house. These asteroids don't seem to play a major role in my chart. Chiron makes a semi-square to Strand though and I've always felt like a societal outcast. The orb is within 10 minutes. Venus makes a sesquiquadrate with Strand. The orb is a little over a degree by roughly 10 minutes, but I'm assuming based off the information I've provided that my love life is how I stand out. Of course, this could also relate to my writing career. IP: Logged |

Strand - 2.27 Aries 6th Quirk - 2.41 Taurus 7thApart from being semi-sextile each other they don't make many connections in my chart... Strand makes a biquintile to Pluto (48 minute orb). By declination Strand is also exactly parallel to Pluto (it's down to seconds), which serves to strengthen the connection. Strand doesn't conjunct much of interest, within a degree I only found the following: - Bridges 4029 - Probitas 902 (probity: strong moral principles, integrity) The Sabian for Strand is THE CAMEO PROFILE OF A MAN SUGGESTING THE SHAPE OF HIS COUNTRY. There seems to be a definite Plutonic theme with Strand, and the Sabian seems to indicate something to do with identity. Not quite sure what to make of that yet, I'll have to ponder it. I guess Bridges has a similar sort of theme as Strand, building bridges, bridging gaps... And I guess having integrity and principles is a good thing with any kind of connection, perhaps especially if it's of a Plutonic type. Ummm... Quirk makes a sesquiquadrate to Saturn (32 minute orb), and by declination it's parallel to my Moon. Quirk has a bit more interesting asteroid company. It conjuncts, by less than a degree: - Valentine 447 - Osiris 1923 - Mjolnir 85585 The Sabian for Quirk is NATURAL STEPS LEAD TO A LAWN OF CLOVER IN BLOOM. Quirk is an interesting one for me, because I definitely have a whole lot of quirks! But I wouldn't say that they are connected to Moon or Saturn... or maybe I just don't know myself very well. The Sabian looks lovely though, very optimistic! (Something I am to a fault.) Valentine is an interesting addition to the picture. Seems to indicate some romance related quirk, and I guess my aversion to any kind of romance is quirky enough. Osiris and Mjolnir are a mystery to me. Edit: added asteroid conjunctions, not sure I got any wiser by doing so... IP: Logged |

QuirkI have 18376 Quirk Pisces 6.11'11" in H(3)aquarius conjunct 3063 Nut Pisces 5.15 Quirk conjuncts Fixed Star Sadalachbia Pisces 6.05 {success in ventures, personal charm, movement to rich pastures, aviation, discovery of lost items, "The Star of Hidden Things."} I've had a knack-for stumbling upon unique items for friends {e.g. things like "chancing" upon finding rare replacement pieces from a broken or lost 'set' of items they owned}. But?, that could be ascribed to other asteroid placements too. Conjunct 80 Sappho Pisces 7.21' {brilliance with written word and a deep understanding of the Romantic Soul; Honest respect for another's sexual rights, and refusal to comply to 'prejudiced' points of view}. Conjunct 11585 OrlandeLassus Pisces 6.32' Orlando di Lassus was a Renaissance period composer of Music. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orlande_de_Lassus Here's one of the quirky songs he's composed. This group of young people dramatically perform the piece, and have the "translations" of the (shocking) lyrics appearing on the screen. Lerena, have you tried looking at your comparison with your Draconic chart? Maybe your synastry or transit charts will activate these better.
Quirk in Taurus in 7th house. Could you find mates that are unique and unusual from the typical types your peers might favor? Or you seem rather unique in thier standards?
Strand in Virgo in 10th house. [i] Idk about this either, with 10th/MC and virgo, I'm wondering if this could be more like medical. 'Strand+dna'? Maybe you're seen as 'connectedness' in someway with this energy in a body/physical side of the energy? have you looked at the declinations in these to see if they are near your other energies?

Nadja- I've never seen Mjolnir. Do you know anything about it? I ran into that sabian too. Very pretty one indeed. Have you thought to use your country asteroids or ancestral ones? It might shine a brighter light for you. Quirk with your moon, perhaps you have a wit that is more a quirky nature than others. Ami Anne- I suppose if they have no quirk maybe they don't pursue astrology! Mirage- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjVKUap1HgU Sorry. had to do it. Your Quirk is trine by 10m with my Gaudi (flamboyant) 10185 - I'll need to click your videos to see/ hear the lyrics you speak of, my nutty friend. ⚘ By the aspects within your chart, you have a flair for quirk, which meets culture and art. You could create your own gimmick and be a success! Thinking of this, I wonder if Weird Al Yankovich has an interesting Quirk.

Just tried Strand with every country/ancestry asteroid of mine that I could think of, but there is not a single connection there. Not with Quirk either, for that matter. Then I tried checking squares, trines and oppositions, just to see if there was anything noteworthy. Found the following: Strand Ari 2.27: - square Euphemia (well-spoken) at Can 2.29 - square Skywalker at Can 2.33 - trine Jerusalem at Leo 2.39 - trine Magion at Leo 2.46 - opposite Fiducia (trust, confidence) at Lib 2.22 - trine Sumeria at Sag 2.21 - square Ceres at Cap 2.00 - Square Champollion (decipherer of the hieroglyphs) at Cap 2.53 I don't have any connections to Sumeria or Jerusalem that I know of... and I don't really believe in past lives either. So not really sure what to make of those. The rest of them look like an interesting blend of eloquence, trust, compassion, understanding... all the stuff needed for emphatic communication/connection. And also a bit of magic thrown in! I'm definitely seeing a theme now! It kind of seems like Strand is all about empathy and communication in my chart. Pluto does have a certain sort of deep empathy and understanding of the nature of others. And the Sabian, 'profile of a man suggesting the shape of his country', could also be taken to have a similar meaning... about belonging and being part of something bigger. The conjunctions with Bridges and Probitas (integrity) also fit the theme. And as for Quirk. Well, I do have kind of a quirky wit... or at least a quirky way of speaking, communicating, gesticulating. But idk, those sound more like Mercury things to me. Quirk aspecting Mercury would have made perfect sense! The Moon less so... There is very little that's quirky abut my emotional responses for instance. But dreams, imaginations, instincts... I might have some quirks there. Mjölnir is the hammer of Thor in Norse mythology. Pendants in the shape of a hammer were worn as an amulet and symbol of Thor during the Viking Age, and even today by Asatru pagans. Mjölnir is said to be indestructible, and it always hits its target. Thor is a god associated with strength, protection, thunder and lightning. I don't have any experience with using the asteroid though. Looks like it could be an empowering and protective type energy, but might also be destructive... I don't really feel like I have any Mjölnir related quirks though. Since the aspects to Strand helped me so much to make sense of it, I'll try the same with Quirk. Several of them are shared with Strand though. Quirk Tau 2.41: - square Jerusalem at Leo 2.39 - square Magion at Leo 2.46 - square Allegra (lively/quick/happy) at Leo 3.33 - square Adonis at Leo 3.34 - trine Adalovelace at Vir 2.00 - trine Earhart at Vir 2.42 - trine Tesla at Vir 3.07 - trine Madhatter at Vir 3.40 - opposite Poseidon at Sco 1.48 - opposite Moon/Uranus midpoint at 2.47 - opposite Charis (grace) at 3.26 - trine Ceres at Cap 2.00 - trine Chephren (4th dynasty pharao) at Cap 2.30 - trine Champollion at Cap 2.53 - trine Zoser (3rd dynasty pharao) at Cap 3.25 - square Werdandi (one of the Norns) at Aqu 2.13 - square Iris (rainbow goddess, messenger of the gods) at Aqu 2.21 - square Ramakrishna at Aqu 2.53 Now that's all over the place... Those Leo trines!! Ada Lovelace, Amelia Earhart, Nikola Tesla and Madhatter...?! Yeah. I might not be a mad scientist or adventurer as such... but I do have my eccentricities.
Those Egypt related Cap trines also make a lot of sense from a quirky perspective. I did have a very deep and enduring obsession with Egyptology, all through my childhood and youth, to the point that I know a bit of the Ancient Egyptian language and how to read some very simple hieroglyphic texts. Quirk activating the Moon/Uranus midpoint looks significant too. Maybe indicating an emotional need to be free to express my quirks?? Just speculating here, I'm not very good at interpreting midpoints as of yet.
