When Venus squares Neptune exactly in synastry, it will more often than not lead to a confused 'rose tinted glass' romance followed by heartbreak, when he does not call after a couple of intimate dates.This is sadly true even when the other aspects are positive. Only those who have completed their Saturn Return have a knack of making a relationship with this aspect work out [with plenty of effort] ------------------

I've heard about that aspect, it doesn't surpise me :]
In his own natal chart he has Venus opposite Saturn exact, and from what I read that causes some commitment issues too. Just a question about Venus-Neptune. Does the Neptune person leave because they fall out of love easily, or are they just insecure about having a serious relationship? IP: Logged |

No insecurity whatsoever. They easily lie to themselves that they love the other person. And after they "lie" with the person, they can easily lie to themselves that they do not love this person at all, and that they truly love somebody else. Essentially, they have trouble with objective truth when there is a Neptune-Venus square. In a conjunction, it can either be dramatic deception or complete immersion of unconditional love.In an opposition, the potential for deception will be clear to the Venus person but even then they may fall for the sheer charm. ------------------

From my research this is the only aspect that guarantees a geniue love and apperication between two people, no matter how "incompatible" they are. Is this true & what if its a double whammy? Does that mean that the Neptune person might talk themselves into believing they do NOT love the person, while they really do?
That is an interpretation I have never heard before (usually it is the other way round; that they think they love someone, when they don?t), but it makes sense to me that it might be working both ways. (Self)deception certainly can go both routes. I found that very interesting. Thanks. IP: Logged |
