I've noticed that Valentine by house, sign and ruler seems to provide a very accurate description of that which one finds most admirable, most aspirational and values most highly in life. Certainly this is true in my case and appears to be true of others I know.

I'd be interested to learn what other Knowflakes/Newflakes think.

My Valentine is in Leo at 18 degrees and OMG I just realized that Valentine conjuncts my husband's NN by ONE orb and my vertex conjuncts too his NN but by 3 orbs.

So my vertex conjuncts my valentine by 2 orbs.

I have Valentine in Libra 12H, conj Asc and Pluto.

I think it has more of an affect on who is attracted to me rather than who I am attracted to. Conj Asc and Pluto, constantly men (and women) show sexual interest. I myself am not attracted to many people at all. However, my Lust and Valentine exact conjunct each other so there is difficulty to interpret them separately.

My partner has his Valentine conj his moon both in Gemini in the 8th. In relationships, it seems that people are very attracted to his ability to create deep emotional intimacy.

I have valentine and Eros in the 8th and yes the occult and sex for bonding and the mystery of death and rebirth, and the underworld fascinate me. Subjects that are keep hidden from the masses fascinate me and I like to do research on it as knowledge is power and 8th house represents that war on knowledge that has been going on for ages as a lot of information is kept hidden from us as well as truth on many matters. I am obsessed and inspired by hidden information that empowers me and the world.

When orb is less than 1 degree, there is always a very deep meaning for this.

REGULUS conjunct VALENTINE Keywords:
Royal Love, highly evolved love, past life true lover of a King or Queen, will love someone with Royal Blood or will marry someone who was a queen in the past lifeline.

Thanks for responding.

If you don't mind my asking: What are your feelings on the ability to 'make money!', entrepreneurialship, those who build companies and businesses from the ground up with hard work to great / grand successes, powerful CEO's that become responsible and caring philanthropists? The question could go on and on in this vein, but hopefully you see my interest.

Where is your sun placed? I'm wondering also if you daydream / dream such an admirable story of hardwork - grand success for yourself.

**valentine in the last degrees of leo 29'57 h10 trine merc in aries h6/neptune in cap h3.

If my hypothesis holds water I should imagine an admiration for 'rapidly rising star' type careers from obscurity to shining notoriety. Also, you perhaps value very highly responsible leadership, 'critical thinking abilities' and the power of 'reason'; the ability to 'think out', decipher, understand and translate the nebulous/mysterious and symbolic to everyday language. I wonder if the ideal would be to communicate the fruits of these critical thinking abilities, perhaps as applied to the (soul) mysteries of life in service to others also thereby gaining recognition and public standing.

I'm tempted to talk about mothers and grandparents in relation to the tenth house. But I think I'll leave 'til another time.

P.S. Please don't allow me to define your valentine placement for you. I'd rather you define it for me (it's your valentine), so that I might understand better its energy. Again, if you don't mind, where is your sun placed?

Best wishes

I have sun in the 10th...I do want to have my own private practice one I am done with masters in general psychology and get my license to practice without a license from DORA (this is the procedure in Colorado). Then work on getting my license while I practice counseling and eventually built up my clientele and be a successful psychologist. I also have pluto conjunct Saturn in the 11th and mercury in conjunct MC in the 10th in equal and in the 9th in placidus.

I am also run a business from home with husband which is growing every year more and more but once I am done with masters plan to focus more on my career as a counselor.

Pluto aspects:
pluto semisextile sun
pluto biquintile moon
pluto sextile venus
pluto sextile mars
pluto sextile neptune

pluto conjunct saturn in the 11th is my only hard aspect and I already learned the lesson that aspect wanted to teach me.

Pluto rules my 12th house.

@Amelia28

just remembered your valentine conjuncts your vertex. This might indicate a great appreciation for divine order and divine intervention; the apparently fated events in life that have caused changes of direction and set you (or others) on new paths or journeys of discovery.

Valentine seems to me to point to experiences of the highest order. The values it speaks of in my own life are so core to me that I think I wouldn't even want to exist if such admirable traits and aspirations didn't themselves exist within humanity / society etc... On this basis, I should imagine that divine interventions, the mysteries of fate, the hand that suddenly appears to scoop you up at just the right time and save you from (impending) circumstances that are perhaps not the best and redirect you might be core to the very value of existence itself for you.

I'm not very good at synthesizing charts and asteroids are pretty new to me, so I'm quite nervous about interpretting aspects. So I'd really appreciate your feedback on this. If it sounds nothing like you, please let me know. I'm here to learn and if I'm way off the mark it wouldn't upset me to be told that.

Thanks.

oh wow yeah i am amazed by those types of careers! and yep i do admire critical thinking and reason in people i meet.

oh i'm not so good at piecing together aspects. i've only actually just began to read them. so defining for me is very helpful for now.

my sun is in taurus and the 7th house..

thanks a lot!

It sounds very much like me.........fate has always played a role in my life strongly.....with love, immigration and travel. vertex conjuncts valentine but valentine falls in the 8th and vertex in the 9th....and my karma in the 9th conjuncts my venus exact and mars by one orb both also in the 9th.

When it comes to love I have never felt I am in control....beginnings and endings of love relationship have felt out of my control and very fated and immigrating and moving to another state both felt very fated.

With your sun placement I would imagine that all that was described above would hold special significance in the area of creating or rather gaining relationships.

Gaining a good understanding of how people relate and communicate, how one creates rapport, therefore securing partnership of some kind, might be ultimately aspirational to you. Whether that be in general public relations and how to gain good social standing via skillful self presentation and communication amongst one's peers or community / audience, with business colleagues or potential clients, interacting with groups/ organisations, lovers or friends. I think there might be significant value placed on such fine tuned communication / presentation skills and knowledge of interrelations such that one can both create rapport whilst also maintaining individuality and genuine self presentation (self representation), gaining the respect of others on this basis of truth. I think you may have a deep fondness and appreciation for society and it's needs as a whole and may have much respect for those with the ability to relate to all others as friends and equals. In a nutshell: adept and successful relating leading to established partnerships (with whom or whatever), gaining due respect and recognition (secretly - accolade) and using these skills and qualities to serve one's society well /responsibly are possibly the things you value most highly in life.

By the way, when I post @someone does that someone get tagged / alerted?
